COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We dry-hop this American Style India Pale Ale with seven grains and four domestic hop varieties by adding dry whole hops to the finishing tank so the beer rests "on top" of the hops for five extra days! Malty sweetness up front with big cascade and glacier hops in the finish -- a wonderfully drinkable IPA!

12oz bottle. Copper color, white head. Aroma of cirtus. A bit oxydized malt smell. Don’t really know how old the bottle is. Nice caramel malt, toasted malt, biscuit, followed by an earth bitterness. Very simple. Calms the craving for hops.

Drinks like someone took a Sam Adam’s mixed it with a Yuengling and shook it up till all the carbonation was gone.

Floral perfume hops and light caramel malt nose. Something doesn’t mix quite right though and the taste has some metallic qualities.

Sampled at GABF on 9/17/2010. This IPA pours a medium orange gold color from the tap. Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet, floral hops. A medium bodied India Pale Ale. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are floral and citrusy. Light to medium bitterness. Good carbonation. Nice balance. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Bottle. Nice copper body with pretty rich white head. The aroma is hop dominated, and the flavor exhibits a solid piney hop profile with a nice biscuity malt backbone. Medium body and carbonation. Overall: a very solid IPA, and more than I expected from this brewing company, to be honest.

Orange pour with white head, aroma is touch of citrus and pine, some caramel and biscuit. Taste is some pine and citrus mixed, caramel middle, with a slightly bitter finish. Not bad, but a little lacking in flavor.

12oz bottle. Small off-white head atop hazy amber body. Aroma is medium sweet, grapefruit/orange, some bread, light soap. Taste is medium sweet, pine/grapefruit, light bread, lemon. Light-medium body, low carbonation. Surprisingly muted hop characteristics.

Poured from the bottle in my trusty Samuel Adams. Pour produced a cloudy, tawny amber body, topped by a white head of foam. The aroma was very floral, with hints of caramel. The palate of the beer was on the watery side, with a strong leaning on the malt side, providing stickyness. This IPA had a dry finish with a metallic tang at the end. Not bad but it did fall a little flat for me...
