COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We dry-hop this American Style India Pale Ale with seven grains and four domestic hop varieties by adding dry whole hops to the finishing tank so the beer rests "on top" of the hops for five extra days! Malty sweetness up front with big cascade and glacier hops in the finish -- a wonderfully drinkable IPA!

On firkin on a recent visit to St. Louis. Pours murky light amber color with marshmellow head. Aroma is dank bitter hops with a touch of citrus. Medium mouthfeel. Flavor was somewhat bitter, citrus and dank. Has a pretty good malt backbone. Overall not a bad brew. I thought it would have been more bitter.

Nice strong hop aroma, with a touch of brown sugar. Pours a hazy amber-orange, with a tight cap of off-white head. Nice hop presence, with a touch of spice and sweetness. Nothing out of the ordinary, but a very drinkable IPA.

Pours a cloudy amber with deep orange hues. Aroma of spruce, caramel and lavender. Flavor is sweet caramel upfront with a slightly bitter floral and pine hop to follow. A lower IBU IPA with a sweeter malt balance than most. That being said, it is quite a good beverage.

Bottle. Pours a hazy orange with a medium white head. Aroma and flavor of citrusy, piney hops. I don’t get much malt -- just some sweetness and a bit of doughiness. Drinkable, nice, unremarkable.

Orange golden pour from bottle. Thin head. Aroma is pine needles and spice. Taste is earthy, with notes of pine cones and citrus. Lightly bitter finish. I prefer bigger, bolder IPA’s but this one is o.k.

UPDATED: JAN 1, 2011 Bottle- It has an orange color with an decent head. The aroma has a citrus fragrance but not overpowering. The taste was slightly bitter but enjoyable. It had a creamy texture and was easy going down. This brew is good for 1-2 when kicking back or relaxing after a long day.

I don’t usually like IPAs because they are usually too bitter or strong for me. This is pretty smooth and easy to drink. It’s nutty and full bodied. Had this at Riddles in STL. Blueberry Hill often has it too. Jan 2010.
