COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We dry-hop this American Style India Pale Ale with seven grains and four domestic hop varieties by adding dry whole hops to the finishing tank so the beer rests "on top" of the hops for five extra days! Malty sweetness up front with big cascade and glacier hops in the finish -- a wonderfully drinkable IPA!

12oz bottle thanks to my friend Simon.
Appearance : Clear yellow with medium foamy head. Some lacing.
Aroma : Malty with piny and resinous hops. Slightly herbal.
Taste : Citrusy hops with piny and resinous notes. Nice malt. Finish is malty with citrusy and resinous notes. Fairly resinous persistence with very light caramel.
Overall : Fairly straight forward IPA. On the line between APA and IPA. Well balanced malt and hops. Quite drinkable. Not sure about the date of this but it’s starting to show signs of age.

Pours a dim amber with a lasting white head and sturdy lacing. Aroma is fresh and caramelly but rather faint. Taste is light with just hints of citrus. Simple and slightly acidic. Finish is dry but the hops are pretty far in the background. Light and meaningleds

Bottle. Dark honey color. Medium head that dissipated. Aroma of pine, medicine, grains, malt, slight caramel. Medium light bitterness. Has a strong malt/ hop balance with lean towards matinees. Caramel syrup notes. Some pine hops. Not too fresh. Not bad. Had better.

I was excited to taste this an bought a 6 pack on a whim. I found it hard to even finish the beers after a week. Of them sitting in the fridge. I didn't like the dry hop at all. It was too bitter and not very smooth. There is no comparison between this and Dogfishheads. 60/90/120 minute dry hopped beers. I think it looked and smelled alright, but the bitterness ruined it for me. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Orange colored beer with a white head. Really grassy nose, but there is some pine character to it. Bready sweetness, kind of watery, and a bit of citrus peel. Pretty "meh" flavor. A bit of bready sweetness, water, grass, and bitter pine and citrus peel. Not a fan.

A dark orange color with a white head. The aroma contains some peaches? and citrus with some perfume notes. The flavor is very mild with some citrus notes and some more sweet fruit like peaches and apricots. Very odd for an IPA but not bad. This is more like a blonde ale.

POurs cloudy, orange-amber with a thin tan head. Scent is orange malt, sweet citrus. Taste is slightly bready, sweetly fruited. Gentle resiny bitter...floral.

35,5 cl bottle @ St. Urho’s Pub. Rated on 31.08.2009
Leftovers from HBF, probably not very fresh bottle
Aroma has exotic fruits, some bready malt, caramel and some biscuits. Flavour has resiny hops, caramel, gooseberry bush and hints of nettles. Decent.
