COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We dry-hop this American Style India Pale Ale with seven grains and four domestic hop varieties by adding dry whole hops to the finishing tank so the beer rests "on top" of the hops for five extra days! Malty sweetness up front with big cascade and glacier hops in the finish -- a wonderfully drinkable IPA!

Pours a transparent orange amber with a dense, frothy, well-lacing off-white head. Aroma of fairly fresh, green grapefruity hops and a touch of earthy pale toasted malt. Body starts fairly full with a decent citrusy grapefruity flavor and toasty earthy caramel malt. Very drinkable and well-balanced.

12oz bottle. Sharp piney honey hops in the nose, with a clean and unmuddled taste. It’s straight hops and little in the way of malt, which is nice, and the hops are moderately bitter honey and pine cones, with a little faint bit of butter thrown in for kicks. Sure, it’s not the best IPA, but it’s made to style and does the job: simple, clean, hoppy.

Bottle courtesy of tjthresh. Pours reddish amber and cloudy wiith a rocky stubborn head. Smells of citrus, pine, some bread. Tastes moderately bitter with pine, pepper and caramel prevailing. Mouthfeel is earthy. Finish is spicy with some nice resiny qualities.

Hazy amber, small tight head. Huge hoppy aroma, tons of fruit. And, by heck, they’re there in the taste too - peach and melon in abundance, but also very good malty backbone to prop up the hops. Lovely fruity finish. Very tasty and well balanced IPA.

Pours turbid deep orangy coppery with 2-finger off-white head. Nose is bready malt, hops, orange marmalade, and some earthy and funky hints. Tastes bready caramel malty, with hops and some peaty, earthy, funky undercurrents. Not too shabby at all.

Bottled. Poured a very slightly hazy medium orange with a tall, rocky cap of beige head and sticky lacing. The aroma first found an intriguing floral hop presence with sweet toffee... deeper caramel sugars, citrus, and pine notes emerge shortly afterward along with a bit of cookie sweetness. The flavor had sweet candied caramel and toffee with mild pine, citrus, and floral bitterness.. left a moderate-length pine and caramel finish. Medium-bodied with a creamy middle on the palate.. OK balance. Solid brew.

Bottle received via trade with drmatt. Pours amber with a small, frothy, light brown head, somewhat diminishing, fair lacing. Aroma is average malt (caramel, meal, toasted grain), heavy hops (citrus, pine, resin), average yeast (sweat) with notes of apricot and peaches. Medium bodied, sticky texture, average carbonation and a bitter finish. Long duration, light sweetness, moderate acidity and bitterness.
