The name says it all chocolate cherry. You can smell both. You definately tast both. More of a dry unsweetened coco taste and I think it might be flavored with the same stuff they put in cherry coke. Much more carbonation that is typically present in craft beer. As far as chocolate beers, I’ve only had chocolate stouts but I I thought it was closer to a weak chocolate wine flavored with cherry.

The smell is very sweet - almost bourbon like. It pours a very dark copper with a ton of carbonation & little to no head. It leaves a thin white lacing. The taste is very similar to a tootsie roll up front & finishes like a cherry coke. Somewhat interesting but not my cup of tea.

Sampled at an esbls tasting. Copper hued and hazy. This smells like chocolate covered cherries. A one trick pony but it is exactly what the name implies.

It poured a dark reddish/brown color with a small beige head. The aroma was similar to a cherry Dr. Pepper. The flavor was sweet with cherry and chocolate flavors, plus a touch of malt. The finish was artificial cherry sweetness that does not linger long.

12 oz bottle from Pepsican. Nose is definate cocoa-chocolate with plenty of cherry and lots of sweetness, like a cherry cordial. Lightly hazy copper with a medium beige head. Flavor is cocoa and cherry but not near as strong as the nose. Interesting take on a wheat beer.

Refrigerated bottle poured into a shaker. Pours clear amber with small off-white head. Some lacing, medium body, medium carbonation, and chocolate & cherry aroma. Taste is chocolate and cherry. Good and refreshing.

I was expecting a dark beer but was disappointed when the color poured a deep amber. This beer smells and tastes like a cherry tootsie pop. This will be hard to finish.

A cloudy red brown beer with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor are both chocolate covered cherries, which may not be desirable in a beer but is delicious nonetheless.
