Bottle pours red-brown with an off-white head. Aroma is just like the name, cherry and chocolate. Flavor is less than elegant, showing cherry pie filling and dusted cocoa. Overall body is light to moderate, and finishes slightly cloying.

One of the worst "beers" I’ve ever had. If someone made a chocolate soda, this is probably what it would taste like. Very fizzy. Neither the chocolate or the cherry flavors were appealing at all.

Amber beer with a very short beige head. Big aroma of cherries and chocolate. This does taste like a cherry cordial, and it avoids the worst of the artificial chemical fruit tastes that can really turn me off on a fruit beer. The body is a bit thin, but the flavors are spot on if you are looking for a cherry cordial beer.

Aroma was delicious cherry and chocolate. Body was a bit thin, as was the brown color. No hop bitterness.

Pours a reddish amber. Half finger beige head. Some lacing

Aroma is chocolate, cherry... but not chocolate covered cherry. Yes, it smells good. Yes, it smells inviting.

Taste is more chocolate and less cherry. I’m guessing the cherry is more on the nose. No hops, no grains, nothing else. I can’t tell if it’s artificial, or not artificial. Not much to say about this.

Mouthfeel is smooth and rich. It’s not bitter at all. It’s sweet.

Overall, it’s okay. I’m disappointed. If they pulled this off properly, it could be the end of beer reviews. We would never need to drink another beer ever again, because you would have perfect perfection. But sadly, they failed. It’s okay. It may be a little chemical artificial, but it’s hard to say. Perhaps if you had a Queen Anne’s chocolate covered cherry and you dropped one in, or popped some whilst drinking, it might be okay. Otherwise, it’s worth a try, just to say you did. But you may wish you hadn’t.

Dark orange white head at the taproom. Heavy cherry and cocoa aroma, taste is the same. Not much more to say

Pours a dark brown with a tiny white head. Smells chocolatey with tons of fake cherry smell. Taste is chocolate followed up with a slightly fake cherry flavor, which is surprising, considering the smell. The beer doesn’t lie about what it is, but to me it’s just a novelty beer, like most fruit beers. Worth the buy out of curiosity.

Bottle. Pours a deep copper with a bubbly tan head that dissipates quickly. Smells like bad-quality chocolate -- like something used in a chocolate fountain at a high school birthday party. Also, cherry syrup and light floral hops with a hint of something metallic. Bleh. A sweet beginning tastes of grocery store maraschino cherries, with notes of stale cocoa on the finish, leaving a somewhat unpleasant sourness on the tongue. Heavy peppery carbonation assaults the mouth and continues down the throat. Everything about this beer tastes artificial and manufactured, and I could find few redeeming qualities. I’ll be sticking with Queen Anne Cordials for my chocolate-covered cherry needs.

Bottle; poured a reddish tinted dark brown. Aroma was very strong. Sweet cherries, like the kind in drinks. Maybe some caramel and chocolate. Flavor was more mild, with brief chocolate giving way to cherries. Maybe a touch too much like medicine, but not bad

Bottle at home. Pours brown with two fingers of off white head. Aroma is cherries and some chocolate. Flavor follows with lots of cherries. Very sweet. Not pleasant at all. Gross. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz bottle. No apparent code date. Appearance: light brown, clear, with little off white foam head. Aroma: Intense bing cherry. Hard do discern any other aroma. Taste: Light toasted, chocolate malt with sweet cherry flavor on the backside. Malt flavor is light and one dimensional. Mouthfeel: Light bodied, quite thin, with low carbonation. Finish: bing cherry flavor lingers well more than any malt character. Overall: This beer tastes as advertised. Malt charter is subdued, and body really thin, which lets the cherry flavoring overpower. With more malt character and body this could be a good beer. Would like to also see more of a true tart cherry flavor as opposed to the sweet flavoring in this beer.
