yes it is gold. taste is simple and friendly with just a hair of tartness. rather fun to drink. does have a hint of processed industrialness there. pretty good sizzle. repeatable mild lager effect.

Bottle- Pours a nice golden color with a decent head ans some lacing. Aroma of citrus, fresh grain and a bit of malt in the background. Taste is of fresh grain and a bit of citrus. there is a mild sweetness with a touch of bitterness and a clean finish. Light body, crisp, smooth and somewhat refreshing. Decent beer. One of the better Blond Ales I have had. If nothing else it is non-offensive and goes well with food.

It poured a golden color with a white head. The aroma was some sweet hoppiness. The taste was smooth, sweet malt taste along with mild hop flavor and no noticeable bitterness.

Not much in the aroma, the flavor is not horrible, mostly light hops and drinkable overall.

Bottle. Poured clear amber color with an average off-white frothy head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate balanced sweet aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Drinkable soft brew.

Tastes like a seafood boil, wtf... I get that with English hops sometimes, this is not a Koelsch though.

12 oz. bottle from the Handlebar in St. Louis. Somehow this is one of the easy-to-find O’Fallon beers that has escaped me. Pours a mostly clear gold color with a small white head. Aroma of lemon citrus, sweet malts, apples, light toffee, cereal grains, and crackers. The flavor follows suit pretty closely, with some fruit, honey, and malt sweetness. Light-medium bodied, with moderate carbonation and a light malty mouthfeel. There isn’t much to this, but it’s a decent, sessionable ale.
