COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Light-bodied and refreshing, this beer is uniquely based on the Cream Ale style ... an original, true American beer modeled after the light lagers of its time. A subtle tartness adds to the beers crisp finish, making it the perfect summer quencher.

Bottle. Kind of skunky pour under the cap. Still some oxidation once it’s in the glass. But a pale yellow color and short fizzy head. Taste is the basic cream ale: a little too much sweetness that betrays the corn grist. At least there’ a bit of hop bitterness going on. There even seem to be fusels waiting to give me a beer headache. Not the best from these guys, but sometimes the market trumps innovation.

Light Yellow, Thin Small Head, No Lacing. Citrusy, Sparkling Water. Reminds me of Dos Equis XX. If you like flavored water, then it is up your alley....

12oz bottle, from Party Source. Mostly clear pale yellow body, minimal white head, couple dots of lace. Medium body. Light to moderate carbonation, kind of abrupt texture. Wheat flavor, some light citrus. Mostly sweet, light tart taste. OK cream ale. Flavor doesn’t really carry the sweet taste. Not too interesting more than halfway through, but not too bad

12 oz. bottle poured to my 1/2 pint taster showing a clear, light golden hue, with a modest amount of white, bubbly head foam that diminished rather quickly to a ring & film, and left some clingy spots & spray on the glass. The aroma was light malt, grain, a touch of corn, and some light mineral scent. The flavor added slight sweetness, decent effervescence, low hop astringency, while presenting a light body, with some watery texture. Clean and sessionable nonetheless.

UPDATED: FEB 4, 2013 This 12 oz. bottle was sent to me by Strykzone in a trade. Noticing it was a summer beer I waited until I was done with a hard workout on the Elliptical machine to drink this one. Poured a very clear light color, with a fine bubbled white head and moderate lacing. The nose is light malts and floral and grassy hops. Light in body it has a smooth creamy mouthfeel. The flavor is tasty with some light fruit and floral hops, on a caramel malt base. The finish is creamy and grainy and almost sweet. It is what it is, a summer beer, and is quite refreshing after a workout.

We had this beer at the 2013 Tops of the Hops in Biloxi, MS. O’Fallon is new around here, and they were definitely our find of the night. We liked all of their stuff! Kite tail is light, almost clear in color, low flavored beer.

12oz twist-off bottle, unknown date. Served at around 40F.

Pours clear pale yellow with a one finger white head that recedes to a light cap and leaves just a few spots of lacing behind.

Aroma is lemon, grain, light bread/cracker malt, hint of vanilla, reminiscent of a light lager or pils. Simple. Good strength.

Flavor is lemon, vanilla, light bread/cracker malt, moderately sweet, light bitterness on the finish, little to no alcohol.

Mouthfeel is light bodied, yet somewhat sticky, good to sharp carbonation.

Easy drinking beer that maintains some flavor. Would go down nicely on a hot summer day after doing some yardwork.

Bottle - average size thick head, light yellow color, sweet & tart lemony wheat aroma and flavor, a little thicker mouthfeel than expected, would be good and refreshing on a hot day

Pour out of 12 oz bottle, clear yellow pour with white fizzy head, aroma brings notes of soft cracker, biscuit, hints of slight earth, some grass, slight hints of sweet vanilla, pretty light aroma but nothing bad in there. Taste is a mix of sweet cracker, biscuit, some slight lemon, grass notes, fairly watery but slight earth, finishing fairly dry, clean. Not bad, but not much there.

light color with nice white head, really bland beer and average in every way possible....disappointing but not nasty by any means just kinda blah.
