Bottle. Cloudy amber color with medium white head. Aroma of light pumpkin. Flavor was sweet pumpkin and sweet spice. Finish was short and sweet. Worth trying once.

12oz bottle acquired in trade with TannerTavernboys (thanks!). Poured a deep and cloudy amber color with a large sized off white head. Aromas of cinnamon, nutmeg and light pumpkin. Tastes of pretty much the same. The cloves came out as I drank the beer. Lively body. This one was OK as the pumpkin and spices weren’t overpowering.

Decent pumpkin beer. Had a friend send me some of Ofallons beers recently. You can certainly taste pumpkin pie flavors and smell them in the aroma. Pretty smooth. Not sweet and not bad at all!

Thanks to JPDIPSO for this one. I like pumpkin beers, and this one was rock solid. Turbid, ruddy amber pour with 1-finger, off-white head and little lacing. The aroma was very spicy, with nutmeg, cinnamon, bready malt, bread pudding. Tasted of pumpkin pie spices. It tastes like someone threw pumpkin pie in a blender, complete with the whipped cream! This one also reminds me a little of Viking Jule-ol. Great pumpkin aroma and taste. A top 10 pumpkin beer in my estimation.

UPDATED: OCT 28, 2012 Tasted on tap at the International Tap House in St. Louis, Missouri. Hazy light-medium orange body. Highly spiced pumpkin aroma. Spiced, very pumpkin (more Pumpkin in flavor than most Pumpkin beers) taste. Just like Pumpkin pie. Very nice after taste.

Bottle courtesy of tjthresh. Pours copper with a white head. Smells of cinnamon, dough, oranges and ginger. Taste is moderately tangy and slightly like a cider at first. Lemons and pumpkin emerge as the beer warms. Finishes with hints of tea and lemons.

Sampled at Hills Market beer tasting. This beer is a clear dark orange color with a medium thin and foamy bone white head that recedes steadily. Spotty rings of lacing on the glass that slide quickly. Aroma of pumpkin, Big Red cinnamon and other spices. Medium body with flavors of pumpkin, cinnamon and cloves. The finish is spiced with a milld earthy malt undertone that lingers a bit. Slightly above average overall.

Bottle. Clove, nutmeg, and pumpkin malt aroma. Cloudy amber color with small head. Slightly sweet nutmeg, cinnamon, and pumpkin flavor. Very nice pumpkin beer.

Bottle (12oz). Clear bubbly pale copper, average frothy white head. Vegetal pumpkin and sharp pumpkin spices - the vegetal malt softens quickly and it’s really very pleasantly spiced - totally like a pumpkin pie (no whipped cream). It tastes even more like pumpkin pie, I actually DO get a hint of whipped cream in the taste - it’s very spicy but man, it’s so sweet (like sweetened canned pumpkin mix) that it’s almost cloying in the finish. Very lively, if wan, body, sharp on the palate and a sweet thick spiced aftertaste. Pretty damned good, actually - especially since it’s been in my fridge since October!

UPDATED: OCT 14, 2006 Bottle, blind rating (in a flight of three pumpkin beers). Head is initially small, frothy, off-white, mostly diminishing. Body is hazy medium amber. Aroma is lightly malty (cookie), lightly hoppy (apricot), with notes of pumpkin and nutmeg. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. The best of this 3-beer blind flight...and certainly the one with the most pumpkin aroma.
