Dark amber pour. There’s a thin, clinging white head topping it off. Wonderful aroma of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, and other spices. Smooth, sliky, and easy drinking. The flavor is pumpkin pie. Sweet and spicy. One of the finest pumpkin beers.

The taste of this beer just doesn’t work. I couldn’t drink it, it went straight down the drain.

Old rating. Bottle from Old Town. Lots of spice on the nose, clove, nutmeg, cinnamon and a bit of cardamom. Tastes more of the same with a sweet pumpkin pie character. Nice balance between malts and spice. Slightly medium bodied, but spice flavors are nice. Not bad at all.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cloudy translucent orange brown. Quickly dissipating head. Relatively mild but pleasant aroma consisting of nutmeg, cinnamon, malt, and caramel. Thin bodied and smooth. Very unique pumpkin taste. Pumpkin pie is extremely prominent. Spices, malt, caramel and a wee bit of tartness as well. Lacking robustness, but quite good otherwise.

My personal favorite pumpkin beer after Michigan Brewing Company’s Screamin’ Pumpkin Spiced Ale was no longer made. Dark amber colored and full of flavor. Definitely taste the spice, but could use a touch more pumpkin. Not as hoppy or bitter as most pumpkin beers. Case worthy.
For a more creamy pumpkin pie taste, add a splash of Whipped Cream Vodka.

Bottle into iced Pilsner glass. Deep copper color with minimal white head and no lacing. Aroma is fruity like green apple and raisins. Weird. But taste is effervescent. Like a sparkling ale. Cinnamon nutmeg and clove flavors. Not bad.

I like pumpkin pie, I love beer… so why not? Pours a cloudy orange with a medium white head. Aroma is cinnamon & nutmeg and the taste is the same. Pleasantly sweet, yet not overwhelming. Enjoyable.

Kinda bad. Just a typical artificial tasting weak herbal brew. Nothing to write home about or waste your stomach space on.

Appearance is deep golden with hint of orange, clear, and an off white head. Aroma is cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove. Like fresh pumpkin pie. Taste is sweet caramel malt with pumpkin spicing on the back end. Differs from some othe pumpkin ales in that the malt seems to dominate the flavor. Mouthfeel is light to medium for the style, with a moderate carbonation. Finishes with a spicy, bready note. Definitely more caramel malt and less spicing in this than other pumpkin ales, which I kinda like.

355ml twist off bottle. Orange pour, not much head. Smells like pumpkin pie, good on them for mirroring it. Flavor is typical pie spices, but not too much on them, little bit of pumpkin, literlaly tastes like pumpkin pie, one of the few pumpkin beers that tastes like pumpkin pie and honestly that’s all i ask, not diabetes and spices.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
This is a very spice forward pumpkin ale but the spice flavor is pleasant at least, make for a pretty drinkable beer--better than many by the brewery, in fact. It is slightly hazed orange w/ a white head of fine bubbles that lasts as just a small ring for the duration of the glass. The nose is all warm cinnamon spice w/ something of an apple note, which I assume comes from the yeast. Flavor is even more spice forward w/ a very slight metallic note coming out as it warms. Its texture is suitably creamy for this kind of beer though but still relatively light bodied w/ mild carbonation which seem to add to things. This definitely scratches the pumpkin beer itch for those who crave such things. There are better ones out there but this is good enough I suppose.
