Black out taste like a smoked hot dog very smokey. Black and Tan. Perty good beer would seek it out

This is one of the better beers from O’Fallon. The smoke aroma and flavor is strong, but not overwhelming. A bit of chocolate but its understated.

12oz bottle: Great smoke flavor with tons of malt. A little bit of bitterness at the end. Dry finish. Great fizzle, with some faint chocolate. Nice beer

12 oz bottle courtesy of Rebekah. Thanks. Pours a dark brown color with a small brown head that has fair retention. The nose is somewhat mild and understated with a sweet smoke aroma. The taste is smoke, ash, bitter walnuts and burnt grains. The palate is full with just a touch of grit and the carbonation is medium. Finishes dry with lingering smokiness. Overall: Very nice little smoked beer, one that I would hope comes in a six pack and is reasonably priced.

Bottle. Pours deep brown with a beige head. Smoked and sweet malts, with lighter roasted malty notes, and hints of soy sauce and cherry. Decent.

12oz bottle, from Party Source. Dark brown color. Good thin light brown head. Few dots of lace. Medium body. Light - to - moderate carbonation. Good smoke in the aroma. Dark chocolate, some light roast, light dark robust dark fruit. Bitter taste, some sweet. Satisfying big smokiness, but aside from that, qualitatively just alright

I really enojoyed this beer. Just the right amount of smoke. Great body and palate...just what i love about a porter. Balanced smokiness. not overpowering. really enjoyable.

Dark brown pour with a khaki head. Other than the smoke and roasted malt aromas, kind of a light nose. Some hints of dark fruit, salt, earth, and toffee. The flavor is smokey, salty, roasty, and dry. Minimal malt sweetness, earthy hops, toffee, and water.

I appear to be in the minority here but I really didn’t like this beer. It tasted like bitter liquid smoke and had a terrible mouth feel.

Bottle. Pours a very dark brown with tan head. Smoky, burnt malt, brown sugar aromas. Smoky, meaty, burnt/roasty flavors. Pretty nice smoked beer. I also added this beer to chili that called for a dark beer and I thought it worked nicely.
