3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz. bottle shared by Tmoney99. Pours a hazy brown with a small off white head. The aroma has sweet caramel, toasted bread and alcohol. The flavor has sweet caramel malt, toasted bread, honey, and alcohol. The 10 % is noticeable. Medium full bodied and sticky mouth feel. Interesting, but tough to classify.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz bottle. 7.5%. Kind of a sweet edge, capture the style rather well, maybe too sweet. Rich caramel tones. Balanced, but leaning into bold sugary American action. OK, a little thick.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours mahogany brown with a soapy tan head. The aroma has toasty bready malt, toffee, spice and apples. The body is quite thick with lots of carbonation. The flavor starts with lots of alcohol, toasted malt, sourness and odd fruitiness - alcohol overpowers everything. The finish has a fusel alcohol presence that is way too hot, some stone fruit and a big medicinal taste. This not for me at all - no alcohol hidden in the least & overpowers anything I would have liked in the beer.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
12oz bottle from The Beer Depot in Ann Arbor, MI. Pours a cloudy brown colored body with a finger-width, creamy, light brown head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is sweet caramel and toffee-bread with some melon fruits, a touch of honey, and a light roast. A hint of dark fruit, alcohol, and herbal hops. Flavor is similar. Sweeter caramel and toffee-bread up front with a nice dark fruit, melon, and light chocolate-molasses. A light roast comes in nicely at the end that blends well with the darker malt sweetness. Finishes sweet and malty with some chocolate and bready, toasty, caramel along with light-moderate roast, a light herbal hop bitterness, some dark fruits, and a light alcohol warmth. Lengthy aftertaste following a full, smooth body and a creamy, moderate carbonation. Overall, a solid beer. Fairly sweet and somewhat sticky, but well balanced with a nice, light roast and herbal hopping. Some dark fruits and bread as well as some melon fruits. A noticeable alcohol heat, but not so much that it distracts from the flavor. A big, malty, fairly well balanced beer that I liked.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Courtesy of Strykzone this 12 oz bottle poured a rich red-brown with an off-white head and decent lacing rings. Nose of ripe fruit and lots of alcohol. Medium body and boozy mouthfeel. Flavor is lightly roasted caramel malts and some floral hops. Finish is malty and again the alcohol shows up. Great flavor but the high alcohol is a bit distracting.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pour is a dark brown with almost no head at all. Aroma is lots of roasted malt with some caramel and molasses. Flavor is a heavy malt some oak and a large helping of molasses. Alcohol is there but not as stong as i thought it would be. An ok beer to have a sample of but do we really need a 10% alt beer?

3.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
The beer looks nothing short of gorgeous in a glass deep reddish orange with a really nice big fluffy off white head leaving some good lace. The aroma is malty but shows the beers alcohol strength pretty boldly in a sort of high gravity malt liquor sort of way, but has some redeeming cherry and toasty notes. The flavor isnít nearly as rough as the aroma, actually not by a long shot. There is a lot of nice fruity maltiness to the beer exhibiting cherry and plum flavors along with a nice bit of bitterness and a mild enough sweetness that makes it hard to believe that itís as big a beer as it is. The alcohol is pretty perfectly concealed but the beer has a pretty commanding presence on the palate. Overall the aroma sort of kills this unfortunately because it is delicious.
