Our first unfiltered beer; made with whole wheat, two kinds of barley and hops and our Kolsch yeast for a refreshing beer with a crisp finish.

Thanks drmatt. Pours a hazy soft amber with a one to two finger creamy white head that dissipates quickly. The aroma is fruity, citrusy, a little sour, grassy, wheaty. Grassy sweet citrusy flavor, bubbly carbonation. Nice palate quick upfront finish with a mild lasting wheat aftertaste. Pretty nice wheat beer.

Huge bubbly head on top of a light amber beer. Somewhat hazy clarity, but not as much as some other unfiltered beers I have had. Grassy wheat aroma, hints of fruit and summer florals. A light bodied ale with a high drinkability.

Bottle from xmarcnolanx. Muted wheat aroma. Mildly sweet and grainy. Struggling to find more. By no means unpleasant, just not a lot there. Pours hazy bright yellow with a big, creamy white head. Palate matches the aroma. Lots of restrained sweet wheat flavors. Not a lot else... a hint of orange. Fairly limp body with a cardboardy watery finish.

Bottle. Poured with an unnaturally large and cloudy white head (bigger than Duvel). Initially the head was 80% of my tumbler. After letting it settle for a while and pouring some more.... Moderately cloudy and slightly more gold than white--good, not great, wheat color. Aroma was pretty fruity--not as tart as I’d prefer but more like sweet lemon and orange--something you’d buy at Orange Julius maybe? Taste was good but weak. The citrus was evident but tasted watered down (2/3 Hoegaarden 1/3 water). A good wheat--too bad summer’s over otherwise I would probably crave this more often on very hot days.

Very nice aroma that does not translate directly into taste. Light banana taste. An ok wheat. No worse than other local wheats. Still, wheat is not a good American style.

light bodied wheat beer with thin head and small taste. lacks usual flavor of a unfiltered beer, no hint citrus or fruit hints. on discount thank god.

bottle. funk on the nose. dull, thin gold hue. little head. thin, metallic wheat nose. smells like white bread. where’s the fruit? cream flavor, mild fruit, but not pronounced. lemon-banana flavor. watery finish. not too impressive.

Not a great wheat beer. It has a dirty taste and a limp body. I bought this on a discount and I now know why.

Pours a hazy straw with a fizzy, white, diminishing head. The nose is a sweet, wheaty grain, pleasant but rather one dimensional. Light-bodied, thin and lively with a sweet, clean and mildly dry finish. The flavor is a sweet effervescent wheat malt with a neat finish. Fairly simple but quite refreshing. A nice American Wheat; while not as pretty, I’ll risk committing local blasphemy and say it’s on par with Boulevard’s popular wheat.

12 oz. bottle, sampled at the brewery. Definitely more substantial than the Trailhead wheat I had earlier in the day. A golden color. decent taste of American wheat beer with no esters. a slight lemon flavor builds up toward the end.4
