Pours a semi-cloudy golden color with a big fluffy head. Although the head is large bead rather than the small bead one expects from a Bavarian Weizen. Aroma is sweet bread dough. Taste is fresh and fruity along with some spiciness like coriander. On the negative side, I find this version to be a little too sweet to the point where it masks the other flavors.

Sep 10, 2008 Tap at the St. Louis Airport Embassy Suites. Hazy golden color with a slight white head. Mild aromas of citrus & grain. Near medium body with sharp but mild(!) carbonation. Flavor is not weak. Mostly grain and citrus. It’s clean and refreshing. Better than many wheats. Many.

Aug 22, 2008 pours a light golden color, fairly clear for an unfiltered. A sweet yeasty aroma. Initial flavor is citrus. Finish is a slight bitter for my taste.

Aug 12, 2008 12 oz bottle purchased as a single at Happy Hour, Independence, Missouri. Poured cloudy hazy orange golden into my tulip with a two inch white head. Head falls quick, with very little lace. Aroma of wheat, citric sour and cleanser. Taste is wheat initially, full and grainy. The sour citric taste comes through in the middle, with the finish closing pretty quietly. Palate if full and mouth coating. Tasty and drinkable.

Jul 11, 2008 Hazy straw yellow with a medium soapy white head. Aroma of wheat, toasted malts, and light yeast. Taste of wheat, cereal, light lemon and some sweet malts. A little grainy though it finishes kind of crisp.

Jun 15, 2008 Pours a hazy golden-yellow with quite a bit of sediment. Mild aroma of yeast and citrus. Watery flavor, with a bit sweet grain and breadiness. OK, but not great.
