Imagine our smooth, clean wheat beer with a touch of peach and you get the idea behind O’Fallon Wheach, our peach wheat beer. Refreshing and crisp, it’s perfect for warm summer weather. Available April through July in 6-packs

I don’t like this beer as much as I like Pyramid’s Apricot Weizen, but both are excellent for very hot weather. Extremely refreshing, fairly crisp. Strong peach scent and flavor, but not cloyingly so. Semi-dry finish. Not sure how I’ll feel after a sixer, but right now I’m enjoying this quite a bit.

Pale yellow/orange pour... very cloudy with foamy white head. Peach/alcohol aroma. Much better in the bottle than poured, holds the carbonation better. Pretty decent flavor sweet peach followed by malt finishing slightly metallic/sweet.

Pours a hazy yellow with a frothy white head. The aroma makes me think of peach scented shampoo. It’s quite pleasant but not something you’d expect to be drinking. The mouthfeel is light and thin with a crisp dry finish; nothing special, but quite refreshing. This tastes to me like a simple American wheat with peach nectar in it. It finishes fairly dry and a tad soap-like. If you’re looking for something light and fruity for a hot summer day, and you like peaches, give it try.

O’Fallon Wheach 12 oz bottle Moderate pour in a weizen glass Recent brewing, bitten into 05/07 Poured a murky orange gold with a small fizzy quickly diminishing head. Smelt of moderate peach and flowery wheat. Taste was upfront moderate bitter sweet and sour peach followed and perfumey hops followed by a light sweet candy peach and bitter doughy yeast on a short finish. Palate was light bodied, watery, overly effervescent, and moderately astringent. Overall, it’s not overly outstanding, although I am a huge fan of peaches. This is an average to below average beer, but extremely refreshing on a hot humid summer day.

I think this is the beer at the St. Louis Brewfest. Aroma was amazingly strong peach. It was as if a can of peaches had been opened. Very pleasant. First sip also featured strong peach flavors but that soon faded into a spicey flavor. However, it was a very pleasant beer. Didn’t get enough of the wheat flavors or aromas.

Bottle. Poured a very golden yellowish color and hazy. Aroma is wheat and some peach. Taset is nasty and not a good beer at all.

the peach flavor tastes natural and not overpowering. it’s a very light wheat beer that is perfect for the spring/summer. i wish this was available year round.

on tap at Parkville Microfest. A delightful peach beer! great aroma, flavor is peachy without tasting like a jolly rancher. refreshing beer with appropriate hops to give it some flavor mightiness.

I was a little scared of this beer, but my previous experience with O’Fallon (their smoked porter and pumpkin beer) caused me to pick up this beer with no hesitation. And I was not disappointed, this beer is quite refreshing, even for those a little afraid of fruit beer. It poured a hazy lemonade color with very good head formation (lots of it, tight bubbles, good durability). Aroma was a little off-putting; it was very fruity and a bit like an FMB. The smell was not refreshing and very much like canned peaches in syrup. Flavor was perfect; it was a wheat beer with peach flavoring, as advertised. Mouthfeel was light and refreshing. I was very pleased with this beer.

the best summer beer. period. i was scared of a fruity beer but the peach is not over powering. it is almost just a little hint of peach with every taste. i love this beer and wish i could get it all year round. thank god its spring and i will be able to get it soon.
