2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
This is a very one dimensional beer, but definitely has it’s place. The peach comes as advertised with a background that tastes exactly like Blue Moon. Probably wouldn’t make this a staple but it it’s refreshing on a hot summer day.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 8/26/2013. Pours very hazy golden amber color with a 2 finger dense white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass. Aromas of big ripe peach, lemon zest, pear, apricot, wheat, floral, grass, bread, light honey, and light yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance of fruit and malt notes; with good strength. Taste of ripe peach, lemon zest, pear, apple, wheat, floral, grass, light pepper, bread, light honey, and floral earthiness. Lingering notes of peach, light fruits, wheat, floral, grass, light pepper, bread, and light honey on the finish for a short bit. Nice balance of peach, malt, and lightly spicy yeast flavors; with solid robustness and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and light-medium bodied; with a slightly creamy and very crisp mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very good fruited wheat beer. Good balance of fruit and malt flavors with solid robustness; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Pours a hazy light gold. Some head that yucky dissipates. Lots of wheat and peach on the nose. Slight bitterness with a sweet peach flavor. Falls flat on the finish though. Overall a very drinkable beer.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
I like this beer. Was one of the first fruit beers I ever had and still today can sit back and enjoy one. Taste of wheat and peach. Just the right balance of the two. Some fruit beers the fruit overpowers the true beer taste, this one is just right.

Hmm . . . there’s a peach in my beer. No, seriously, there is definitely peach syrupy sediment on the pour! Very light head that dissipates quickly, which is not surprising for a wheat beer. However, the stuff that settled on the bottom of the bottle did take a minute to disperse in the glass. I kinda wanted to stir it. I could smell the peach right away. There is also a very distinct peach flavor that does not overpower the wheat at all. There is a little tang and, yes, that same aftertaste that you get from a peach after you take a bite. Great beer for dessert or just relaxing on a summer day. I personally wouldn’t have more than one in a sitting though. A shandy would make a great follow-up.
