zombywoof (308), Shawnee, Kansas, USA Jul 12, 2008 Pours a color of....PEACHES. Has an aroma of....PEACH pie. Taste like fresh...PEACHES. Finishes with notes of apricot and...PEACHES. It’s a little bit of a one trick pony not much else going on here but that’s alright because I like....PEACHES. I’d have to say that even though it’s not very complex, it is refreshing. I pronounce this beer to be a,,,,,PEACH! You’ll enjoy this if you like a good lawnmower beer...and... PEACHES!!!!!
cheapdark (1606), Monacatootha, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 8, 2008 Which wheach whitch? Peachy aroma. Silly label, how bout we drop the eyes from the peach? Initially has a little more ale bitterness than I would have expected for a wheat beer. Ceratinly lots of peach in there. Flavor is more unsweetened than I would have expected. Gunk on bottom provides a hefe swirling pour. Ya get used to the flavor after a while. Enjoyable amount of fizz. Like many other fruit beers and I am wondering about why this is rated so much higher by others. Finish has a few attributes of bitter ale but is only medium in length. noncaloric (111), Madison, Wisconsin, USA Oct 1, 2008 Summary: Yea to the peach, but nay to the wheat. Aroma: Sweet peach, like a peach hard candy. Appearance: Pale hazy straw color, thin white head, spotty lacing. Flavor: Peaches with a little citrus on the front. Then it becomes strongly wheaty, whole grain wheaty, and noticeably oxidized. Finishes peachy and slightly bitter. Palate: Mediium carbonation, peppery. riversideAK (1648), Shoreline, Washington, USA Sep 24, 2008 Bottle thanks to BeerBunker. Thanks! Aromas of peach and a light lemon/wheat note. Pours a nice bright hazy yellow/orange with a thin lasting head. Flavor of mild sweet soft peach, pretty natural all things considered. Wheat follows, lemon/citrus is tart, light Wheaties, then some lingering peach flavors. Smooth carbonation, easy to drink. A well done fruit beer that I enjoyed quite a bit. bhensonb (3010), Woodland, California, USA Sep 14, 2008 Bottle from Friar Tuck in St. Louis, MO. Hazy pale gold color with a decent fine white head. The aroma is peach. Medium body with frothy carbonation. Flavor is peach, somewhat bitter, over wheat/grain. Finish is like sucking peach pit. Ending a little bitter. It is refreshing. stangger (135), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 8, 2008 12 oz bottle. Aroma is so peach, maybe a little yeasty.Light, fruity taste. It’s really, really peachy with a slight bitter taste on the tongue at the end.
