Zeke’s is a dry, crisp, light-bodied pale ale brewed with Galaxy hops, which gives it a unique citrusy flavor and aromas of passion fruit, grapefruit and pineapple. O’Fallon brewmaster Brian Owens created Zeke’s because he wanted a smooth and relatively easy to drink beer with a rich, full hop aroma and flavor.

12oz bottle from Joe Canals EHT. Poured an alright looking clear light amber body with an average to smaller frothy white head. Aroma of vomit, grains, old citrus. Luckily the vomit is not present in the taste, dry malty grains, toast, hint of nutshell and super dried out citrus rinds. Medium mouthfeel average carbonation and a lingering aftertaste.

Pours a pale Amber with a small but rocky head. Nose is ginger, faint spicy hops, metal, and toast. Light to medium mouthfeel. Very caramelly, almost ESB-like with lemony hops, faint ginger and a bit of resin. Medium mouthfeel. Finish is slightly bitter with lingering bread. Weird, but not completely unpleasant.

Bottled 355ml. -at O’ Hara Zagreb. Served warmer than it should be. Dark golden coloured, medium sized off-white head, fruity hoppy nose. Sweet malty, fruity hoppy, notes of honey and grass with moderate bitter finish. Drinkable but nothing more than that.

Appearance: pours with a large beige head that settles into a small head with decent density, the beer is a nice copper gold color and very clear Aroma: grass, earth, pine, flowers Taste: moderate bitterness throughout, not much malt flavor comes out, Palate: bitter aftertaste, light mouthfeel, lively carbonation Overall: it is exactly what it claims to be, a hoppy easy to drink beer, lots of bitterness from the hops, some other hop qualities besides bitterness are present but it's very subtle ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a slightly hazy orange with a big full white head that laces the glass. Mild aroma of grapefruit. Taste is sweet pale malt, French bread, grapefruit and a bit of hop bitterness.

Not a bad pale ale, though it doesn’t take advantage of the galaxy hops. A bit mild and certainly balanced if a bit uninteresting.
