For Apex Predator Farmhouse Ale, we pitch the yeast cold, turn off the temperature control, and let the yeast do it’s thing. To our delight, it spat out the sweet scent of juicy fruit wafting from a frothy, white mane. Brewed only with grain and sugar unencumbered by the heat of the kiln, we create a hazy, golden body. Apex Predator gets its teeth from a generous Crystal dry-hopping that completes the dry finish with a fruity bite. Pounce on the opportunity to let it part your lips and you may find yourself at the top of the food chai

Tap (Pudel, Tallinn)
Bright orange, brief large tight head, was hard to pour. Slightly vegetal saisony aroma, quite some sourness too. Fairly thin palate, a little bit of sweet smoothness from residual sugars, crisp-to-high carbonation. Simple pale grains, some breakfast cereal corniness, slightly messy and vegetal. Does cover 6% fairly well, but is a very dull beer. Finish leaves me with one of the sweet breakfast cereals I had when I was a kid, one of the scarier chemical sweet ones ("golden nuggets", IIRC).

Tap @ Mikkeller & Friends, Copenhagen 16/7-14. Fruity and yeasty with hoppy and light spicy notes, pine needles. The finish is dry and bitter with fruity and hoppy notes.

Hazy golden with a thin white head. Nice aromas of white grape, hints of spiciness and a touch herbal and a light sulfur note as it warms up. Lively attack, pretty carbonated, medium body, creamy, pretty bold palate for a saison. Finishes on this white grape note which leaves some sweetness to the finish altough I suspect final gravity is pretty low, it feels like there’s some sugars left. Pretty interesting saison, well-made and defenitely drinkable.

On tap at sidedoor. Pours a super hazy gold, lasting white head. Aroma is full of mango, guava, creamsicle, tangerine, pineapple, faint vanilla. Flavor is super juicy citrus fruit, transitioning to a light hop bite on the finish. Really creamy & smooth. Light, smooth, zesty finish... Really nice.

A hazed dark straw body sits beneath a resiliant frothy-smooth white head leaving thick, short, angular peninsulas of dimensional lace

Aromas and flavors or creamy, sweaty, tropical, lightly salted, pale fruits on a creamy smooth medium body with plenty of large soft carbonation, finishing mildly lactic and coating with apricot and pineapple notes rounding out to an earthy residual

Hazy gold pour. Small white head. Plenty of lacing. Aroma of lemon yeast and malt. Taste in a malt and yeast.

A beautiful, unfiltered saison with tastes of tart honey poured an opaque gold. The first taste was just as good as the last. One of my new favorites! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz. bottle, consumed on 7-15-14. Smells very strongly of apricot as well as peach skin. Pours a hazy yellow / gold with a moderate amount of uneven, off-white / cream-colored head. Produces good lacing. The flavor also is strongly of apricot. Also some minerals and soda water and a light, dull dryness. Frothy in the palate. Medium body. Forgettable palate effects. Overall, not bad but quite simple. I do like apricot, but that is practically the only aroma and flavor element that I perceive.

Yellow gold color with a fluffy big white head. Spicy nose with some orange zest. Flavors of orange and peach with light doughy and bready malts. A bit of tart in the finish. Not too complex for a farmhouse ale but I liked it well enough.
