COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
For Apex Predator Farmhouse Ale, we pitch the yeast cold, turn off the temperature control, and let the yeast do it’s thing. To our delight, it spat out the sweet scent of juicy fruit wafting from a frothy, white mane. Brewed only with grain and sugar unencumbered by the heat of the kiln, we create a hazy, golden body. Apex Predator gets its teeth from a generous Crystal dry-hopping that completes the dry finish with a fruity bite. Pounce on the opportunity to let it part your lips and you may find yourself at the top of the food chain.

Bottle shared poured a hazy yellow color with nice white head that first hang around to long. Aroma is yeasty lemony mild gunk and delicious. The flavor is more of the same nice light funky citrus blend with yeasties. Very delicious.

This is pretty stellar. Noticeable spicy funk in the aroma. The body is fruity, spicy and funky but not too much so. Quite enjoyable.

bottle. Hazy pale golden with one finger head. Really nice saison. Light body, big yeast. Citrus with a small hop punch. A really nice surprise.

Four pack of 12 Oz from trader Joes. High carbonation on the pour, not too much head. Nice golden hazy yellow coloration. Very nice smell, a bit of a sour highlight to a traditional saison spicy smell. The flavor is pretty good. Plenty of spice with just a touch of alcohol heat. Mouthfeel is great. In terms of saison, I like it. But I don’t love saison.

Growler fill from Aw Shucks. Pours a hazy gold, decent head. Aroma is belgian yeast spice, with cloves and pepper, and a perfume note that comes across like something was added beyond yeast (although supposedly no spices used). Flavor is similar to nose - surprisingly full bodied, not refreshing, some lingering sweetness. Balancing bitterness. For some reason dandelion greens spring to mind. OK, but not quite my thing, wish it had fermented cleaner I think.
