COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
For Apex Predator Farmhouse Ale, we pitch the yeast cold, turn off the temperature control, and let the yeast do it’s thing. To our delight, it spat out the sweet scent of juicy fruit wafting from a frothy, white mane. Brewed only with grain and sugar unencumbered by the heat of the kiln, we create a hazy, golden body. Apex Predator gets its teeth from a generous Crystal dry-hopping that completes the dry finish with a fruity bite. Pounce on the opportunity to let it part your lips and you may find yourself at the top of the food chain.

Cloudy, sun yellow with light white head that quickly recedes. Nose of lemon, fruit loops, sour mix, and "funk". Light flavor of lemon, grain, and yeast. Seems slightly under fermented. Massive aroma light flavor. Perfect for sitting in the sun and watching the clouds.

Tropical fruits in the nose and on the tongue. Mildly doughy. Too sweet for the flavor profile and style, IMO. Also a bit over-tart for a beer not full invested in being that kind of beer.

Pours a hazy yellow with no head. Aroma of funk, wheat, spices and citrus. Taste follows, funky, citrusy with grainy wheat. Light and refreshing yet full of flavor.

Appearance: very hazy golden to yellow color, pours with a medium off white head Aroma: sour, lemon, spice Taste: some faint sourness, light funk, lemon, bread Palate: lively carbonation, light mouthfeel, light sweet aftertaste Overall: another subtle but very high quality beer from this brewery, easily drinkable, no real alcohol Taste comes thru, I really like it ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle: Cloudy, turbid burnt amber & orange with a foamy white head that lasts for a while as a nice overcast film. Sheets of lacing on the glass. Aroma of heavy white pepper spiciness, raw & toasted grains, burnt bread, a hint of dirt, & a mild inclusion of earthy, raw dankness. Very light hint of grapefruit. Flavor is not as spicy up front, but the farmhouse yeast still shines through. Baked bread, faint gumminess, light white pepper, & mild notes of hay. A touch of citrus & lemon-lime spritz lighten things up a bit toward the finish. Dry with lingering notes of bread, grain, & mild farmhouse yeast. Easy drinking, nice stuff,

Bottle from Corti Bros. Pours cloudy golden with a fluffy white head and a sourish fruit aroma. There is a hearty sweet and fruity malt flavor with a nice yeast presence and a slightly sour finish. No banana esters from the yeast. A very nice saison that is easy to drink.
