For Apex Predator Farmhouse Ale, we pitch the yeast cold, turn off the temperature control, and let the yeast do itís thing. To our delight, it spat out the sweet scent of juicy fruit wafting from a frothy, white mane. Brewed only with grain and sugar unencumbered by the heat of the kiln, we create a hazy, golden body. Apex Predator gets its teeth from a generous Crystal dry-hopping that completes the dry finish with a fruity bite. Pounce on the opportunity to let it part your lips and you may find yourself at the top of the food chain.

Bottle from Julioís Somewhat hazy deep yellow color with decent sized bubbly white head. Earthy funky citrus, grapefruit, and juicy fruit on the nose with a hint of sweet bready crackey malt and a touch of earthy fruity yeast esters, that is an awesome aroma! Flavor is light fruity almost juice like with a distinct tart earthy flavor to it. Damn that is a flavorful tart earthy farmhouse style ale!

Lots of pepper with lemon, musty basement and fresh fruit in the aroma. Bread, sweet fruit and pepper palette. Finishes dry. A different type of saison but nice!

Bottle pour into snifter: Hazy pale straw color with about an inch of bright white quickly dissipating head. Aromas of lemon, some barnyard funk, bubble gum, hard cheese rind. Itís lightly sweet, with some honey, apricot, funk, some acid, and lightly toasty bread crust. Slightly creamy mouthfeel, medium palate, slightly prickly carb. Itís good.

Interesting smell like 40/60 malt and sourness med mild, very cool and unique yellow color, taste is disappointing from smell, like a pilsner and hefeweizen mixed together, no sourness, no bitterness, no sweetness...but not watery...all wheaty and selzery... Unique but not really in a good way

12 oz. bottle from The Party Source. Pours a hazy yellow gold with a huge, frothy white head, foamy and rocky, that heavily laces the glass and takes forever to settle, lasting as a soft cap all the way down. Aroma of lemon, bread, wildflowers, bright farmhouse funk, soap, white peach, grass, straw, and some minty and coriander-like herbs. Flavor of lemon, bread, lime, apricot, floral zest, some fruity and farmhouse funk, earthy grains, and a bit of peppery spice. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a mouthfeel thatís initially bone dry but becomes fruitier and smoother as it opens up. Quite lovely.

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle. Light acidity in the aroma with some fruity esters, lemony. There is a soft spicy and earthy flavor. This is a damn fine beer.
