COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
For Apex Predator Farmhouse Ale, we pitch the yeast cold, turn off the temperature control, and let the yeast do it’s thing. To our delight, it spat out the sweet scent of juicy fruit wafting from a frothy, white mane. Brewed only with grain and sugar unencumbered by the heat of the kiln, we create a hazy, golden body. Apex Predator gets its teeth from a generous Crystal dry-hopping that completes the dry finish with a fruity bite. Pounce on the opportunity to let it part your lips and you may find yourself at the top of the food chain.

Draft at the Syb Pig in Boca. Tulip pour is a hazy deep golden straw color with a serious head. Aroma is straw, funk, apricot, peaches, and grass. The taste is fruity, funky yeasts, cereal, and hay. Well carbed, sprite finish.

Bottle from Corti Bros. Pours cloudy golden with a fluffy white head and a sourish fruit aroma. There is a hearty sweet and fruity malt flavor with a nice yeast presence and a slightly sour finish. No banana esters from the yeast. A very nice saison that is easy to drink.

12 oz bottle. Pours a hazy light gold with a white head. Floral pear aroma. Flavor is light, slightly tart with pear flavors, tiny hints at yeast and pale malts. Quite tasty, but very light.

Bottle. Pours a light good with a massive head and aromas of lemon, pepper and saison funkiness. Flavor is a mix of honey, lemon, a little estery pepper and a hint of funk. This is a sweet and sticky saison that is pleasant enough, but I would have liked it to be a little lighter.

Bottle. Interesting one. Pours a murky, hazy yellow. Nose has some bubblegum, moderate funk, sweet grains. Taste is fruity with clear and interesting contributions from the grains, hops and yeast. A bit sweet on the finish but dries out with some funk and slight tartness.

This is a tasty, lightly hopped up Belgian inflected brew w/ a bit of fruity tartness that makes it eminently refreshing and drinkable. It is cloudy orangle yellow in the glass w/ a white head that leaves a nice sheet of lacing on the side of the glass. It’s nose is of bread yeast and lavendar--very nice. This seems slightly tart which brings out some apricot and citrus notes or otherwise has some apricot and citrus notes that create the impression of tartness. It comes across as slightly sweet at first but is medium bodied and finishes dry w/ a pleasantly astringent floral note. This is definitely a very tasty beer and one that feels complete and well-rounded despite not fitting any conventional style particularly well.

A- pours a murky and muddy straw gold. Very light lacing and a faint off white head. S- pine resin candies, dank hops, coriander, floral and clover honey notes. Shortbread and sweet grass. Citrus is there but somewhat uninspired: grapefruit, passion fruit and melon. M- light to medium smooth body with a flat carb. T- taster is dry and flat hops with some lemon and melon. Honey and rose petals return too. Pine resin throughout. Ending has some cracker and pepper with a lingering lime and grapefruit.
