For Apex Predator Farmhouse Ale, we pitch the yeast cold, turn off the temperature control, and let the yeast do itís thing. To our delight, it spat out the sweet scent of juicy fruit wafting from a frothy, white mane. Brewed only with grain and sugar unencumbered by the heat of the kiln, we create a hazy, golden body. Apex Predator gets its teeth from a generous Crystal dry-hopping that completes the dry finish with a fruity bite. Pounce on the opportunity to let it part your lips and you may find yourself at the top of the food chain.

Fruity and funky. Maybe lemon. It's good. I like it more as it lingers in the glass. it doesn't scream it's own name so that you'd remember it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle to Goblet. Aroma is slightly like hay, otherwise hard to place. Appearance is golden and cloudy but not silty at all. Very slight head, but it leaves some nice lacing as you drink it down the glass. Flavor is pleasant with a hint of hoppiness but itís pretty mild. Very soft carbonation, not quite flat. Overall expected the flavor to be a bit more forward, and there is not much follow up beyond the lingering alcohol on the tongue. Not a bad beer but kind of underwhelming.

Bottle at Charcuterie in Chicago. Hazy, wheaty, lime and apricot notes, mild funky yeast, kinda dry finish. Decent saison.

Pale color clear pour. Citrus, cracker, and grainy maltiness. The yeast is not flavorful enough and it comes out lacking that farmhouse punch.

Aroma: Herbaceous, somewhat citrusy hops that tend toward pineapple; a little cheesecloth yeast character as well. Malts are more in the wheat realm. Appearance: Cloudy straw yellow pour with a sticky white head. Flavor: All hops up front with more yeast and malt profile developing throughout; semi dry, lemony finish. Palate: Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation, lingering finish. Overall: Really enjoyable stuff; would buy again.

Wonderful, citrus aroma and flavors. Classic farmhouse with a little more ending flavor.

Pours a hazy pale amber with a foamy white head that lasts. Thick lacing...make that curtains. Nose is fruity: citrus and a hint of pineapple. Taste is balanced. A bit sour. A bit off for me. Medium body. Lively carbonation. Okay beer. Not a huge fan. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Iíve had better and worse... this was painfully mediocre for the price, but hell, maybe thatís just me.

Golden colour, firm white head. Farmhouse aroma, brett, malts, wheat and citrus. Hoppy flavour, farmhouse, brett, quite mild, light bitter. Bitter finish, wood, brett and a light sweet touch.

Bottle for Pats Colts game. Hazy yellow with white foamy head. Nose is great tropical fruit and yeast. Tastes of tart tropical fruit, yeast, lemongrass, hay, cloves, hint of sugar. Finishes dry with light swetenss on tongue. Very enjoyable.

Bottle at dinner with Marty and Sarah. Happy birthday! Poured a hazy yellow; has the wheaty / sour nose and initial taste with a bite of the hops.... Excellent
