COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
For Apex Predator Farmhouse Ale, we pitch the yeast cold, turn off the temperature control, and let the yeast do it’s thing. To our delight, it spat out the sweet scent of juicy fruit wafting from a frothy, white mane. Brewed only with grain and sugar unencumbered by the heat of the kiln, we create a hazy, golden body. Apex Predator gets its teeth from a generous Crystal dry-hopping that completes the dry finish with a fruity bite. Pounce on the opportunity to let it part your lips and you may find yourself at the top of the food chain.

UPDATED: NOV 23, 2015 Awesome...Fruity and funky. Citrus lemon. It’s good. I like it more as it lingers in the glass. it doesn’t scream it’s own name so that you’d remember it. ...on second thought. This is a good beer.

It pours pale gold with a white head. There is some lacing. It has a horse blanket, earthly aroma with orange, and citrus. It has a sweet bite for the initial taste with a bit a tart. There are flavors of orange, and citrus. The spices are low-moderate. There are also earthly flavors as well. It has a moderate feel with high carbonation. It has a dry finish with a spicy aftertaste. Overall it is a strong fruity, slight tart ale with a dry finish.

Bottle from beer store in old towne east. Saison nose without overload of floral notes. Smooth amber body and great balance of malt and hop bite. A hint of toffee and apple. Pretty good - would definitely do again. Reminds me of the north coast one

Bottle: Poured a blonde color ale with a nice thick white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of light rustic malt notes with some light floral notes and some lilac notes. Taste is also a nice mix of floral notes with light rustic malt and some lilac notes that are easily identifiable. Body is about average with good carbonation. Not bad though lilac notes do becomes a bit overwhelming.

Draft at B Side. Poured a hazy orange-yellow color with a thick, creamy white head. Dissipated quickly once I picked up the glass. Aroma is citrus zest and light funky notes. Light lime. Dank citrus, with a lot of resin in this one. Coated my mouth with hops.

Bottle. Hazy light yellow, lasting white had. Lemony and grassy, with light rustic yeast notes. A bit on the sweet side, but finishes dry. The nicest brew I’ve yet tried from these guys.
