3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft @ Beertemple. Aroma is big roast, chocloate, liquorice and molasses. Flavour is deep roast again, some liquorice, but both quickly fading away.
Nice for the abv. + .1 Bonuspoint just so it matches the abv.

Calling this an impy and gauging it as an impy is idiotic. Itís like saying lebron james is a crappy jockey. The rules just donít apply. Judging this as a northern english mild (or a second runnings) makes it into a small masterpiece.
Draft at apex. Pours a murky dark brown with a dense and creamy tan head that sticks around. Earthy rich baking chocolate nose. Creamy medium body with soft carb. Earthy, chocolatey, softly coffeed mid palate also showing fallen leaves. Long earthy finish.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sample at beer temple, pours light brown black with light coffee head. Body is super thin, flavor is watery with wheat, milk choc, and grain. aroma of smoked almond, cocoa, and malt. Barkeep and I agreed this was super muted and light. Not great.

3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
A deep dark stout with a thick creamy brown head. In aroma, a nice sweet sweet milk chocolate with creamy notes, nice. In mouth, a rather run of the mill stout with light powdery character, grassy hops, so-so. On tap at Mugs Alehouse.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Imperial stout at less than 4%? Tastes way too close to water... Some roasted malts in there, but way too thin bodied... Not impressed
