A super draught IPA. Poured Orange with medium white head. Citrusy tangeriney aroma. Citrus flavour, medium bodied with enough malt to keep it in balance. lasting hop finish. A good counterbalance to sweet beers.

Tap @ a Pizza Schmizza... Poured a vibrant orange with a white head, decent amount of lacing on the glass. This was a big floral IPA. Not so much of a bitterness, but a good, lasting resinous quality with citrus notes, caramelized grains flavors and a hoppy finish.

Full bodied IPA, the hop profile quite complex. Pine, bitter, and good ABV to go down.

Draft at Old Chicago. Pours a dark orange color with no head retention. Nose is light with some pine notes. The taste isn’t as hoppy as expected. slightly soapy in the finish. A decent brew but tasted more like a pale ale than a big IPA as the name suggests.

Pours light amber with a medium white head. Smells slightly floral with some pine in there. Taste has VERY little hop taste with caramel notes almost more pronounced than the hops. Slightly watery, doesn’t cling to the mouth enough with a short lived aftertaste. I can see why some might like this one it’s an easy drink but I like more going on in my IPAs.

On tap at McMenamin’s Ram’s Head location in Portland. Clear golden amber with an off-white head. Lots of pine and Pacific NW hops in the nose, nice. Flavor is of fresh, hoppy grapefruit/citrus, mango, pine, resin and a little caramel. Pleasantly sweet, bitter finish. Full, round body with a smooth texture and moderate carbonation. Lacing hangs on the glass in sheets, great head retention. Glad I got to try this one, good IPA.
