This is a beer that Tom has wanted to make for quite some time, and it was definitely worth the wait. Rich, dark chocolate and coffee with aromas of baking brownies are complimented by moderate, earthy hops and a hint of dark fruit before being pulled back for a pleasant, dry finish. This one’s a great candidate for a scoop of coffee or vanilla ice cream if you feel like getting all crazy.

Brown pour with an off-white head. Kind of acidic aroma. Roasted malt, notes of coffee, and cocoa powder. Rather dry. A little bit of bread. The flavor is similar to the nose. Heavy roast and coffee character, some cocoa powder, chalk, and a pronounced bitterness. Dry, acidic finish.
