COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
While it’s 90 IBUs might make you think of a San Diego-style IPA, Caticorn has more than a small dose of European charm. Aromas of passion fruit and guava are augmented by flavors of dried apricot, and earthy orange rind, and supported by a strong, malty backbone. This full-bodied ale finishes dry and leaves you wanting another.

Pours a medium orange with a one finger off white head with pretty nice lacing. Aroma is of citrus pine, tropical fruits, sweet malts, and some earthy grassy hops. Taste is of sweet citrus, pine, tropical fruits, sweet malts, caramel hops, herbal hops, and some grassy hops. Has a medium body with a semi creamy mouthfeel and a semi dry, moderately bitter, medium-long finish. Overall, a pretty nice IPA that is fresh tasting and easy drinking.

Hazed but bright orange colored beer with a white head. The nose is caramel, grass, and spicy hops. Grainy sweetness, celery, and a touch of pine. There’s a definite celery flavor to it, too. Minimal hop flavor, just some grass and spice, lightly bitter. Sweet caramel and grain.
