On cask at Bulls Head, Burslem. Pours black with tan head. Quite a sweet porter and a little flat and sickly. Decent but have had much better.

Cask at Y Delyn Wine Bar, Mold. Pours almost black with an off white head. Aroma is burnt toast with hints of coffee. Taste is coffee, chocolate and plenty of roasted malt. A very moreish porter only let down by the fact it?s a touch watery.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a dark mahogany with a thin off white head. The aroma is a little earthy peat leading to a medium bitter flavour with roasted malt, a little liqourice and weak coffee on the palate. It’s a little watery, but quite refreshing.

Bottle. Brown wuth a medium body. Big head that took time to dissipate. Slightly chocolate and coffee. A modern take on an old style. Nothing outstanding but worth trying.
