Its zany, not your average session beer, drinking above its strength. The Outlandish Pale takes your palate to the extreme with a fresh burst of lemony hoppiness.

Bottle from the beer emporium. Zingy lemony hops, not as strong as some of the other pales so good low percent beer. Really tasty, maybe a touch on the bitter/sour/dry side. Me likey. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Light haze on this gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light, fairly dry and has a good minerally crispness. Thin malts, a modicum of sweetness. Light touches of citric pith and orange peel. Very mild bitterness. Light crispy finish. Clean and crisp but some more hops required!

Cask at The Green Dragon, Leek (JDW) A clear golden colour with a foamy white head. Aroma of lemon, subtle grapefruit, some pale malts and subtle floral hops. Taste is the same of lemon, subtle grapefruit, some pale malts and subtle floral hops. Light bodied and soft carbonation. A soft, floral hop bitterness in the finish. Itís a bland, samey pale. Below average.

Cask @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Clear, lighter golden colour with a small head. Its hops are light with a dryness and has a thinnish texture with a very mild fruitiness attached. Lemon citrus is just about evident in its nose.

On cask at Congress, Longton. Pours clear golden with white head. Pretty dull and uninteresting golden ale. This brewery does much better than this.

Bottle [from trade with minutemat] @ home. Clear golden color, full sized rough white head that lasts for a decent while. Aroma is malts, lightly hoppy. Taste malts, lightly hops, lightly bitter. Decent body and carbonation. Donít get any lemon, itís an ok session beer, but a bit boring.

Bottle. A big off-white head leaves lacings over an unclear, golden-orange body. Dusty, yeasty aroma with citrus peel. Citrus peel, pine cones, bitterness, yeast and chalk in the quite bitter flavor. Medium body, pleasant carbonation. Short finish. Sure a beer I donít need to repeat, not clean at all. 140418
