COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Flagship brew. light amber in color, medium bodied with hints of caramel & citrus zest, with a perfect balance of malt and subtle hops. This beer was designed to be very approachable for our patrons at the pub who were more familiar with the domestic lager style beers. As a result, the Amber Ale offers attractive ale style flavors, but has great drinkability.

This was a bottle at the GIBF. Slightly metallic malty aroma with hints of sweetness. Clear honey color with virtually no head. Malty, metallic, roasted malts with a nice hop kick to finish.

Wick w/ Dr. Ryan. This is a pretty flimsy amber without much going for it. I would take a Sam Boston over this.

12oz bottle in a lager glass. Pours amber with an off-white head. Aroma of pale and caramel malts plus a little floral hops. Flavor the same. Average texture. A decent beer for the style but not the best overall.

12 oz. bottle. Unclear amber color. Nose is caramel malt, hops, brown sugar and has a light fruit note. Taste exactly as it smells. It does have a light nut flavor. The fruit is there but hard to really identify. Overall itís simple and straight forward but I like the balance of malt, hops and nuttiness. Has a bit of a tang from the hops. A bit undervalued if you ask me.

Draft at the brewpub. Mostly clear medium amber color with a one finger head and good lacing. †Nutty aroma with a bit of toffee. †The flavor has a nutty base, toast, and chocolate. †Almost like a brown ale. †Medium-bodied with nice carbonation. †Tasty brew.

Hazy copper color, some head. Dirty malt aroma...searched for hops in vain. Sweet caramel taste, dried out finish. Good carbonation, light body. Vacation drink for the CinC perhaps. We know he hangs out around here.

12oz bottle. Not really expecting much. Pours out an amber/copper hue, decent lacing. Medium malty nose, but not really anything distinctive. Palate is ok, bitter on the entry, malty finish. Sessionable, but there are so many already on the market that are better.

Pours hazy amber into a shaker. Off-white head with little retention recedes to hug rim. Sweet caramel and fruit aromas. Thin with sweet and sour caramel. Medium-length bitter and sour finish.

12oz bottle. Pours medium amber with very little head. Basic amber, not too exciting but very drinkable.
