3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On draught at Redbones in Somerville, Mass. They have a beer roulette, Dial-A-Beer, and this is what they spun. The waitress told me it was Ipswich at first. Great, I thunk, I love Ispwich. Turns out to have been Offshore, and I found it quite yummy. Lightbodied and kind of hazy in color. Definitely some fruit: apricot or apple. Went down nicely.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
PIcked this up when in Cape Cod last month. Pours a nice amber with very little head. Nice smooth and clean hoppy aroma. Really nice smooth as silk-ness as it goes down. Not very pronounced in the flavor department, but at the same time not bad at all. Good stuff.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
A- Body is a quite hazy uniformly translucent, bright, rusty amber hue. Pours with a 1/2 finger or so soapy white head with great retention. Traces of lacing left behind in the glass.
S- Nose is very mild and offers what a typical amber ale has. A hint of citrus, some earthy hops, and a hint of malty sweetness.
T- Flavor profile is mild as well. Herbal and earthy hops seem to come through the most but a sugary sweetness and some malt come through as well. The finish is sweeter than the initial flavor and a vegetable like sweetness lingers for a little bit.
P- This is where the folks at Offshore really did a great job. Moderate tingly carbonation and a very smooth medium weight body.
O-This meets the standard and presents as a decent overall amber ale. The mouthfeel is exceptional and it is a good looking brew-but other than that it really doesnít offer anything exciting. The flavor is certainly unoffensive and this is a drinkable amber ale.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a clear copper orange with an inch-thick, frothy off-white head. Sweet, lightly toasted crystal malty aroma has some mild earthy hop balance. Body has a good sugary caramel malty sweetness and some hoppy flavor toward a bittersweet, well-balanced finish. A very drinkable and good amber. I didnít detect any diacetyl, but my bottle was from 2005.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
This is a very decent light-to-medium bodied hazy amber brew. Light hoppy aroma. Flavor is well balanced, on the hoppy side, but quite easy to drink and enjoy. Finish is clean.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A rust-colored amber that is pretty mellow overall. Not too anything - not too harsh, or heavy, or light, or sweet. A good, well-balanced brew that is, like most ambers, not very exciting.

12 oz. bottle. Unclear amber color. Nose is caramel malt, hops, brown sugar and has a light fruit note. Taste exactly as it smells. It does have a light nut flavor. The fruit is there but hard to really identify. Overall itís simple and straight forward but I like the balance of malt, hops and nuttiness. Has a bit of a tang from the hops. A bit undervalued if you ask me.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle, thanks scott. Poured a clear amber with small white head. I smelled malts and hops and some fruit. The taste had traces of fruit, but not enough to nail down. I think if I had a few more I could nail it down. try this, not bad from Marthaís vineyard.

Draught @ Ct River Brew Fest: This one poured an amber color with some off white head. The aroma was good. There was some malt sweetness, as well as a hint of floral to the nose. The taste is pretty good. Somewhat malty, with a touch of spiciness and a hint of dryness in the finish. A decent amber. This goes down well.
