3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 nickd717 (3394) - San Francisco, California, USA - JUL 4, 2012Draft at the brewpub. Slightly hazy amber color with a one finger off-white head. Hoppy aroma, rather piney, smelling like fresh whole hop cones. The flavor is rather resinous and leafy, a bit unrefined, with caramel malt. Medium-plus body. Could probably use a bit more carbonation. Decent overall.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 jkwood04 (2280) - Connecticut, USA - OCT 20, 2012
12oz bottle in a shaker. Pours amber with a lacy, off-white head. Aroma of citrusy hops and some caramel and pale malts. Flavor the same. Average texture. Not a bad IPA, but not the best.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 halfonit (1054) - Fall River, Massachusetts, USA - SEP 8, 2012
On tap at Battleship. Darker golden color with a thick head. Typical "run of the mill" IPA. Hops, malts, etc that are mid level and do the trick for maxing out profit for a craft brew. A little more on the dry side.
2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20 matalec1984 (115) - Massachusetts, USA - AUG 14, 2012
a sub par ipa.
pours a deep gold with a creamy white head with lots of lacing.
aroma is old, grassy and floral notes are present but are overwhelmed by an unexplainable sweetness flavor is ok but not terribly balanced decent bitter notes. not a bad beer but nothing exciting
2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 mcox90 (1268) - Wilton, New Hampshire, USA - APR 9, 2012
Sampled at Brew Woo. Pours hazy amber/gold with a small white head. Aroma is loaded with citrus hops. A bit of caramel to the back. Flavor stumbles a bit, because there’s a bit of dry leather in with all the juicy citrus hop flavor. It’s a bit off putting. Moderate in body with a dry bitter finish.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 arone12 (873) - Maryland, USA - FEB 5, 2012
Orange haze color. Pretty bitter flavor. Some cardboard flavoring which is not ideal. A little too much of carbonation but still decent.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 Foxbush (986) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - OCT 10, 2011
While at the brewpub the bartender gave me a sample of the IPA. The golden ale had a nice head. The medium body ale had a wonderful bitterness and citrus taste. I learned while at the brewpub they are brewing beer in Oak Bluffs and shipping to the mainland to bottle. There are plans to build a small brewery near the MV airport and bottle their beer on the island. The beers are good and worth it.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Leighton (6913) - London, ENGLAND - OCT 6, 2011
UPDATED: AUG 28, 2012 Bottle at home in NH, shared with Charlie. Pours clear, vibrant gold with a medium white head. Has a fairly clean hop aroma, with light grass and floral notes. OK balanced flavor, mild citrus, toast, hints of grass and plastic. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Dirty bitter finish, mild earth, dirt, toast, some citrus. Not bad. (3.6)
Tap at the brewput, Martha’s Vineyard. Pours mostly clear gold with a fine, white foam head. Pleasant bready malt nose with some dry grapefruit. Medium sweet flavor with pale, bready malts, strong bitter grapefruit, some slightly abrasive grass. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Strong bitter finish of mostly dry grapefruit along with some other citrus rind. Lasting reedy hops. Not bad. (3.6)

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 BroSpud (1348) - , Massachusetts, USA - JUN 3, 2011
12oz bottle. Hazy light orange pour with a white head and plenty of carbonation. A fairly decent IPA with complex hop flavors though it comes across somewhat thin and carries a slight off metallic taste.
