Commercial Description: Scotch Ales, also known as Wee Heavy, are a bold, malty, and full-bodied bunch.
Our version is rather sweet with notes of caramelized sugar and barely burnt malt.
There is also a very subtle note of smoke from the Peat Malt used in the brewing
process. The alcoholic aroma and flavor is apparent but not overpowering…
Take heed…this beer packs a punch. Please enjoy in moderation.
Undistinguished but drinkable low-grav Scotch from this popular bp on Martha's Vineyard; I hope their other entries are more interesting! Some nice earthy notes in the aroma, but it's weak. Flavor is rustic, piney, quite sweet but with a bit of hops. Very quaffable for a scotch, but totally unmemorable.
