2.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
At first glance this looks like a nice IPA. Good golden color and a thick white head. Aroma is of hops, malts, soap, hay and grain. Carbonated mouth feel. Flavor is a little on the bitter side. Very dry. Hops are bitter and unpleasant. There is a malt presence that lingers around but not balanced well at all. I’m hoping that I just got a bad batch or an old bottle or something because this awful.

1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20
Pours a light dirty amber from the bottle. Cloudy, with a nice thick, slightly cream-colored head with small bubbles. Aroma is hoppy, almost apple, but not a clean sense of hops, you can smell that it isn’t a balanced beer. Taste is bright hops up front, quickly fading to...almost nothing. Mouthfeel is thin.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Slightly sweet and nutty aroma (could be the peanuts in the bar, though.) Hint of malt but typical IPA in hoppiness and flavor.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
On tap at the brewery 7/10/14. Pours a dark amber with a thick and right white head that stays. Nose is faintly hoppy, some sweet maltiness, not much else. Taste is citrus upfront that quickly fades into malt sweetness, biscuits, some lingering bitterness, gasoline. Good lacing. Much more on the English pale end of the spectrum. Pretty good

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: OCT 8, 2013 Draft at the brewery. The ale poured a clear amber with thick white head and lacing. The aroma of citrus and resin. The medium body ale had average carbonation. There was a bitterness that resides in the back of your mouth. Nice finish with a lingering bitterness in the back of your mouth.

22oz bottle in a tulip. Pours amber/copper with an off-white head. Aroma of floral, piney, and light citrusy hops plus a good amount of pale and caramel malts. Flavor the same with a pretty good balance. Average texture. Not bad at all.
