Offshore Rye Hop

Deep gold in color with a medium white head of foam. Aroma of citrus hops, bread and rye spiciness Flavor is a nice balance of rye malt with the scale slightly leaning towards the hop character. This is a great session beer plain and simple.

Draught @ Ct River Brew Fest: This one poured pretty much an amber color with an off white head with some lacing. There was some spiciness and grassiness to the nose. The tste is a bit of spiciness, malt and rye. Very nicely balanced. There was a small hop bite in the finish. Even my wife liked this one.

On tap at the brewpub. Cask conditioned in oak, this was interesting. The flavor was mild, tasting like warm honey and some floral hops, but there was almost no bitterness. It was extremely easy to drink, but the flavor was rich, an interesting mix. Good stuff.
