This is not a vianna lager, for it lokks like a simple premium lager, but amber im colour. it nedd more hops in aroma and flavour to be a vienna style lager. it had a little DMS too.

on tap, Golan Brewery Kazrin. clear honey-red liquid, smells of malt, tastes of malt, grain and bread and then a short but sharp hoppy kick. short finish, again malty. I love grainy beers. medium body.

I was a little hesitant to try this after my last Ginger beer (Ginger Tom) was so strong and Gingery that I had to pour it out. This surprised me, though. It combined the crispness of Red Lager with the sharp notes of Ginger, with the spice noticeable to dominant, but not domineering. The choice of making it a lower-alcohol beer is also good, as it prevented the combination of hot alcohol and hot spice that would have been overwhelming. Nice color, lots of head, a surprisingly bitter finish.

Bottle. Slightly hazy amber color with a huge creamy beige head. Hoppy aroma with flowers, citrus and spicy notes, light graininess, some malt and yeasty notes. Flavor starts sweetish and malty, bready and a bit biscuity with light fruitiness, and finishes with nice, pretty strong spicy hops bitterness with light citric notes. A nice lager.

bottle. New beer for the new jewish year. I would not call this your average vienna bit it is the closest style i could think off. Big gushing head, hazy darkish orange colour, fragrant herbal hoppy aroma with touches of vanila, rubber and honey, bread and cereal malty flavour with some fruitiness in the back and a distinct grapefruit bitterness, quite long, bitter sour aftertaste. Very pleasant brew that is quite original.
