It’s a full bodied, dark brew that is rich and malty with plenty of roasted barley character. This hearty stout is layered with flavours of roasted barley, chocolate and coffee coming from the use of specialty malts. Hey stout drinkers, come enjoy the flavour of out Black Magic Stout

Bottle. Pours a very dark beer with a light brown head. The aroma is malt, roasted, ash, notes of chocolate, notes of fruit, notes of smoke, notes of coffee and hops. The flavor follows the nose closely. The palate is roasted with bitterness. Overall a really good beer.

Bottle, bought @ Kihoskh, Cph.
Completely black pour with a fine, staying, creamy, off-white head. Good laces. Lots of milky chocolate in the aroma, some esters, mild roasted, hazel nuts, Nutella. Low to medium carbonation, good creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is nicely sweet, good milky chocolate, hazel, oats, mildly roasted, a hint of alcohol. Long, lingering oaty sweet and grainy bitter finish. Nice.

Ha Black Magic on Ash Wednesday , ok! Bomber pours dark brown/black with medium brown head. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee, and chocolate. Taste is similar to aroma with molasses, vanilla and a sweet tartness in the middle rounded out with a bitter coffee finish. A very nice stout!

22 fl. oz. bottle, as Left Coast’s Black Magic Stout, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.7%. Pitch black colour, big to moderate brown head. The aroma has the expected notes of coffee and dark chocolate, but also fruity and vinous notes. The flavour has strong roasty notes, coffee and dark chocolate again, but also some fruity notes in the background. Nice one.

Aroma is licorice, dark roast, coffee, chocolate, peaty/biscuit. Appearance is dark brown almost black with small dark tan head. Taste is peat roasty forward. Coffee, chocolate, licorice, hint of smoke. Bit of sourness finished off. Very malty. Palate is medium+. Chocolate and biscuit/peat linger. Overall a good foreign/sweet stout. Could use a bit more hops IMO and more complexity. Not even in the same league as Guinness Foreign Extra Stout as the description suggests.
