COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It’s a full bodied, dark brew that is rich and malty with plenty of roasted barley character. This hearty stout is layered with flavours of roasted barley, chocolate and coffee coming from the use of specialty malts. Hey stout drinkers, come enjoy the flavour of out Black Magic Stout

Bottle from ølbutikken. Pitch dark, smooth lacing light brown to brown head. aroma of coffee, roasted malts, brown cakes with chocolate coating, notes of something somewhat harder roasted than roasted malts, but also sweet milky or sugary notes. In total pretty compelx aroma, slightly hoppier and drier than your average stout. Arome is pretty close to guiness foreign extra as i remember it. Flavor is roasted stuff, cofee, chocolate, nice almost spicy dryness from hops, mixed with notes of hard roasted malts. Straight foreign stout, yet still complex, full bodied and very well tasting. Great beer.

Bottled. Pitch black coloured. Dense light brown head. Aroma of roast, brown sugar, cocoa, vanilla, light chocolate, coffee. Chocolate, coffee, sweetness, roast, liqourice, spice, cocoa in the flavour. Medium to full bodied. Has a dry roasty bitterness in the end. Very nice.

Sample at the Santa Clarita location. Pours black with a medium and creamy light tan head that diminishes steadily. Thin sheet of lacing on the glass. Coffee and chocolate in the nose with toasted malt in the background. Medium, smooth body with flavors of coffee, burnt malt and chocolate. The finish is bitter coffee with a bit of malt and dark chocolate aftertaste. Overall this is a passable Stout.

On-tap at Carmel Country Road. Black with some mocha head, lots of lace. Bitter, high carbonation. Dinkable, but this seemed like a Guiness clone. Roasted body, with coffee, very dry. Coffee grounds. Malts get it done, but just an average beer and below average stout.

Nearly black pour. Very small tan head. Aroma of chocolate covered caramel and a hint of worthers original candies. Flavor is a tad roasty with caramel, chocolate and a hint of coffee.

Bottle... Pitch black ale with a small, creamy, lightly tanned head. Decent retention. The aroma is a medley of chocolate, vanilla, coffee and smoke. Medium to full-bodied with a whole-milk mouthfeel and prickly carbonation. Tons of rich, burnt espresso beans and dark chocolate with only a trace of cardboard-like oxidation. Metallic, burnt, bitter finish. Nice, solid stout!

Black with large beige head. Roasted malt, coffee and rye bread hits the nose. Sweet flavour that goes same way and ends sweet.
