Hairofthedog (419) - San Diego, California, USA - APR 17, 2006
The aroma had bananas, light fruit, lemons, and honey. The beer poured a yellow color w/ no head and lacing. The flavor had bananas, light fruit, citrus, hops, slight malty sweetness. The mouthfeel was light and carb.

DaSilky1 (2606) - San Diego, California, USA - JUL 24, 2005
bottle, aged for about a year. Yellow. Lightly soured yeasty aroma. Light refreshing honeycomb, bubblegum, and yeasty flavors with some vinious tendencies in the finish. A relaxing and refreshing treat that is nicely balanced and not overly yeasty or spicey like many american brewed trippels.

   AROMA 8/10   APPEARANCE 3/5   TASTE 7/10   PALATE 3/5   OVERALL 16/20
fordest (1994) - Santee/San Diego, California, USA - JUL 7, 2005
Draft at Oggi’s Santee. Yellow color with a head that dissapeared quickly. Lacing was there, but not extravagant. Aromas of yeasty banana, and some lemon. Flavors were fruity, banana, and more yeasty as it warmed up. Alcohol notes were more evident as the beer warmed as well. Only a touch of hops. Not a bad beer. but not as good as Sactuary.

   AROMA 6/10   APPEARANCE 3/5   TASTE 5/10   PALATE 4/5   OVERALL 13/20
hopdog (8940) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 7, 2004
On tap @ the San Diego Strong Ale Fest. Poured a cloudy medium golden color with a small off white head. Aromas and tastes of spices, a little lemony and fruits. Very sweet tasting.

   AROMA 6/10   APPEARANCE 3/5   TASTE 4/10   PALATE 2/5   OVERALL 10/20
Hmright (101) - Annapolis, Maryland, USA - NOV 27, 2004
A very sweet, syrupy mess of fruit tones, with an almost sour ending. Way too sweet, to the point where it was hard to appreciate any other good qualities the brew might have had.

Sickboy282 (1115) - San Diego, California, USA - JUL 8, 2004
Pours a light blonde golden flavor with aromas of yeast and a light hoppiness....Flavors of banana, yeast and a light spiciness... I was expecting something lesser so this was a slight surprise.

   AROMA 6/10   APPEARANCE 3/5   TASTE 7/10   PALATE 4/5   OVERALL 15/20
MMM...Beer (385) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - MAY 1, 2004
Not quite what I expected (seemed more of a Hefeweizen than a Belgian), but still very good. Cloudy blone appearance with a fruit nose and taste (mainly bananas).

   AROMA 7/10   APPEARANCE 3/5   TASTE 7/10   PALATE 4/5   OVERALL 15/20
DarkElf (3033) - La Jolla, California, USA - APR 19, 2004
UPDATED: JUL 10, 2004 (Draft: O'Brien's in San Diego, CA) Not outstanding, but surely competent; Moderately sweet and very fruity flavor, with a mild spiciness; Moderate sweetness at first, but after the sweetness fades, the finish is mildly bitter; The nose is spicy, sweet, and bubble gum; The palate is fairly thick and viscous; Banana/golden color and somewhat cloudy appearance; Completely headless pour
