COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is a full-bodied malty red ale like no other. British crystal and Munich malts balance the hopping to create a complex flavorful favorite.

On tap in Mission Valley after braving Costco the day before Thanksgiving. Red in color with off white head. Nice spicy maltiness to it. A bit light in the back. Enough sweetness without being too much. Fine beer.

Tap, Mission Valley. Pours dark amber in color. Aroma is somewhat sweet with some noticable hoppiness. Slightly metallic malty flavor. Finish is a little hoppy and bitter.

Nice balaced amber ale. Good crystal malt note some hints of black tea and caramel. The roasted malts are slightly noticeable with agood balanced hop bitterness. Nice hop resin nose with some malt sweetness coming thru.

On tap GABF 02: Pine/resin aroma, syrupy mouthfeel. A bit too much hops for the style, but like Im gonna complain.

UPDATED: FEB 22, 2003 I felt as though i was sucking on a cherry jolly rancher with whipped cream being plopped on my head from up above...quite drinkable, creamy, non-offensive, but yet non-impressive
