2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
A: The pour is a golden orange/amber color with a finger of white head and some mild lacing.
S: Fairly typical and middle of the road IPA aroma to this beer. Heavy on the pine notes with a big lemon smell and some decent citrus peel. Bready malts and mild toffee give this some sweetness.
T: A big time lemon flavor that is almost like a lemon scented cleaner. Decently bitter with a bit of an herbal hop flavor and some grassiness. A moderate malt character with a mild sweetness.
M: Medium in body with a medium carbonation.
O: Not bad, but a really middle of the road IPA. Nothing I’d care to have again.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
tap at apple valley location-pours dark orange with a very small whtie head. huge smack of diacytl right out of the box-it shows on the flavors but has a more brittish taste to it, probably due to the diacytl. i dont think this was to be a brittish ipa, but it definately is like one. some resin/.dirty hops/pine comes in the finish but not very good. This could be good if it was clean.

Bottle (22oz) shared with HogTownHarry, garthicus, GregClow, jerc & mabel -- c/o HogTownHarry. Pours a clear deep golden-orange with an average size semi-lasting fizzy off-white head. Nice hoppy aroma, quite resiny and cat-pee-like with lots of citrus fruit. Lovely flavour of resiny hops, citrus fruit and a nice bitter finish. Average to medium bodied. A bit one-dimensional but I don’t care, it’s a very good beer!

22oz bomber. Unfiltered glowing orange-brown color, frothy off-white head. Fresh citrus aroma, somewhat subdued. Fresh orange citrus notes with a toasty malt background. Hop centered, this is a really nice example of a West Coast IPA. Somewhat dry, quite refreshing.
