I remember loving this beer at the 2005 GABF, so I decided to trade for it. While it was still good in the bottle,, it was nothign like the time I had it a few years ago. Porus a nice light hazy light golden almsot yellow with a nice tight white head and good lace. Aorma is a bit soapy with some lemon, and citrus hops, a bit of pine sap as well. Flavor is ncie and lightly sweet with a good hope flavor - lemony hops, citrus, light resiny hops- gets a bit more resinous and bitter as I keep drinking it which is nice. Good IPA, but not the hop bomb that I remmeber it to be.

Jul 14, 2008 Sampled at Made in the Shade festival in Flagstaff AZ. Aroma is very full of hops and a little malt. Has a lot of hop bitterness, with a nice malt sweetness to back it up. Pretty decent IPA.

Jun 27, 2008 Of the 7 beers I tried at Oggi’s in Del Mar, this was the only one that I sincerely liked. It had a great fruity and floral aroma, great light finish. Didn’t taste as hoppy as most IPAs, but the flavor was great.

Jun 22, 2008 When first tasted, I thought this was just too bitter and seemed a little off base. As it warmed up, it quickly became a quality beer. As I said, the bitterness is deep here, but the beer’s character comes shining through. Superb balance, well crafted beer. Hit the spot.

~Distinct sweet hop scent, almost a chemical smell.
~Taste is very hoppy and citrusy. Too much..
~Astringent and dry feel.
~Its too sour and bitter for me. A stomache turner. I’m wondering if I got a bad one. Normally I like high hop beers. This one was just weird.
