Made an average appearance, poured a clear brownish copper with a small head that quickly settled into a thin lacing, moderate carbonation. Had a clean nose, just banana and sweet fruity wheat malt. A slick, smooth medium bodied mouth feel, above average drinkability. Like the aroma, simple, but crisp and tasty, banana and fruity malts with a very light hop bite towards the end, and a sweet banana fruity finish.
A tasty and highly quaffable brew, simple and balanced, worth giving a try.

Unique flavor for a wheat. Might even have been a barley taste. The typical wheat flavors were very faint. Nice beer, though, very drinkable. Crash (449), Macomb, Illinois, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Aug 10, 2004 It had a strong wheat smell and a grainy taste taste that didn’t last long. It was pretty dark for a wheat beer and I don’t remember there being much head. Wasn’t too impressive. JMerritt (1327), Macomb, Illinois, USA

Moderately strong wheat aroma is rather sweet, nearly sugary. HUGE rye/grainy flavor, along with a bunch of buttery diacetyl. Started strong, but overall failed.
