2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
I usually like these types of beers, this one has a good color, nice head. It just had a funky taste, I was not impressed.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft at O’Griff’s. This was one of the better beers here. Pours a deep brown/amber with an offwhite head. Nose is toasty and nutty, faint honey notes.Clean. on tasting, nutty with a light sweetness. Spicy honey and toasty malts. Some black malt ashyness on the finish. Really solid. stuff.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pint served on draft at the brewpub in a big plastic cup (Quincy, IL). Pours a dark rusty brown, moreso on the edges, hazy, decent offwhite head that dies to a film and laces lightly. Aromas are lightly sweet, a touch of honey and caramel malts, grainy cereal quality. A bit one dimensional. Initial is sweet, caramel malts, raisin, honey, and a bit of vanilla. Faint bittering, as the malt really takes over as a whole. Light sweetness is nice, a good sessioner if the ABV wasn’t as high, which I guess lends to some residual sugars. Light on the palate, leaving a sweet typed coating. Cereal, almost cheerios. Ok. A bit underwhelming overall.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
On tap as Haleigh’s Honey Brown. The body was deep copper brown with a khaki head. The aroma was strong with caramel and apples. There was also a leathery note along with a little soap. The taste was lightly sour at first with a sweet note as I went along. There was some leather and peaches. Woody along with and ashy, light honey finish. Strange.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Darker color but, not really a brown color. Next to no head for a beer that usually has at least some. Don’t remember there being much to smell. Somewhat sweet taste but, not as much as normal. I really wonder if they gave me the right beer.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Light red in color, no head. Rye bread aroma. Sweet, nearly berryish aroma. Mildly sweet flavor, with some sweet malts. Extremely dry. Neither honeyish nor brown.
