3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Nice color, no head. It had a woody coffee taste. It’s a very easy to drink stout.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft at O’Griff’s. Pours a deep brown/black with a tan head that falls. Nose is generic roast and cocoa but restrained. On tasting, a bit water. Not a lot going on. Faint roast and cocoa. Dry finish.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap at the brewpub, called Muddy Mississippi Oatmeal Stout. The body is black with no head. The aroma has some milk chocolate with some woody notes. The taste has some milk chocolate with some dryy woody notes. There was also some tobacco in the dry finish. Solid.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
From the tap, served in a standard pint glass. Made a decent appearance, poured an opaque dark coffee brown with a small foamy head that settled into a thin, slightly bubbly lacing, moderate carbonation overall. Had a sweet roasted malty nose, coffee, fruity and oatmeal sweet. A crisp, smooth medium bodied mouth feel, above average drinkability. Sweet roasted malty taste, coffee and fruity, a nice alcohol warmth shows up in the middle, the sweetness has almost a soda syrupy-like quality, some toffeeness towards the end and a dry-ish sweet roasted malt finish.
A good oatmeal stout, tasty and quaffable, worth ordering. Also at the brewpub this is called "Muddy Mississippi Oatmeal Stout."

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Nice and dark with whitish head. Slight coffee smell but, not enough to make me stop drinking it. Everything that makes a stout was there but, everything was light. Again, not a huge fan of stouts but, I enjoyed this one.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Black/dark red with a nice off-white head. Caramel and coffee in the aroma, which is surprisingly light. Very light bodied, which is a shame. Nearly no roastiness detectible in the flavor. Some chocolate and caramel, but very little of each. Much different than expected. This brew needs to be stronger and more bold -- as is, it seems to be a stout aimed at the typical macro drinker.
