steview (748), Oceanside, California, USA Aug 2, 2007 thanks TimE! / canned; stamped 07.08.30 / the nose is orange, hoppy, a bit spicy, then afterwhile it becomes maltier; copper body, dark orange highlight with lingering, off-white head that is a bit rocky; sweet, smooth, and delicious--a little caramel, resiny and hoppy; a great can of beer--very nice!
BückDich (4540), Boise, Idaho, USA Oct 7, 2007 Sampled @ GJBF Yokohama: Caramel, light head and lacing. Nose of light malt, full creamy notes, nice chewy malts. Full body, hoppy, balanced, good amber. Hoppy and nice. Capa (738), Yokosuka, Japan Sep 16, 2007 @ GJBF 2007. Hop citrus and pine, fruity and a little malts. tasty. Hoppy, fruits, citrus, a little pine, a touch of floral, and some caramel malts. Finishes with a nice biterness. My second favorite amber ale, very good. TimE (1023), Tokyo, Japan Aug 11, 2007 Deep amber color. Another hop bomb nose, this time peaches, strawberries and a touch of citrus. Citrusy mouth with strawberries and cherries sitting in the background. Very light body, but more bitter than the golden ale, which is good. Peaches and strawberries just linger in the finish. Yum. larsga (2149), Oslo, Norway Apr 23, 2007 Medium very light brown head with larger bubbles. Deep amber body. Deep sweetish mango aroma with hints of roastiness. Deep roasty tropical fruit hop taste with resiny hop notes. A little watery, yet some bitterness throughout. Dry burnt aftertaste with wooden notes. Very nice. (0.35l can.)
