Bottle. Hazy golden with a lacing, little head. Very potent lemony hop aroma. Good balance between malt and grassy hop bitterness. Full-bodied. One of my favourite golden ales of this low strength.

Canned at Shinshu Osake Mura (Nagano Sake Village), Tokyo. Clear pale golden, small head. Light grapefruit and vanilla upfront. Dryish despite notes of honey. Light bodied with clean, rounded mouthfeel. Low bitterness. Nicely drinkable and quite aromatic.

Tap at Barley in Nishinomiya. Aroma of creamy, golden malt and citrus hops, honey. Good hopping with golden malt flavor. Fruity, citrus, biscuity. Quite lager-like, but great fruity, grassy, hops. Nice citrus ale, refreshing with great hops. I wouldn’t call this a Koelsch.

@ GJBF 2007. Fruits, citrus hops, and sweet malts make up the pleasent aroma. Flavor is earthy, citrus hops, tropical, and a little malt, though not much. Could go for a nice session on a summer night.

A pale golden brew that has lots of fruity hops going on. I am sure they use whole flowers, they hop profile seems more like it was run through a Randal it is so potent. The mouth is light and actually has some malt. Not bitter enough in the finish, but this is one hell of a summer beer.

thanks TimE! / quiet pour, golden-straw body, airy head; fruity, fruity, perfume aroma, reminds me of Three Floyd’s ThulzaDoom; a lot of tropical fruit going on that is not offensive--not cloy or that sweet; dry aftertaste, peachy burps; not great, not bad!

Medium white head with some larger bubbles. Golden body. Sweetish tropical fruit hop aroma with citrusy notes. Sweet yet bitterish tropical fruit and citrus taste with resiny notes. Dry chalky aftertaste. Very nice, with only slight off tastes. (0.35l can.)
