Roasted Barley and black and chocolate malts provide a delicious smoky flavour and plenty of bite. Flaked barley enhances the creaminess of the head and gently smoothes the final flavour, while Northern Brewer hops lend a subtle hint of dark fruit.

Cask at Charlies Bar, Copenhagen. Dark amber beer with a lasting beige head. Malty aroma, chocolate, and fruit. Hoppy fruity flavor, chocolate, roasted, some grapes, figs and spices. A bit thin.

Cask at The Wharf. A small, beige head sits on top of a clear, dark brown head. The aroma has a slightly sour roasted maltyness. Coffee and a hint of dark chocolate too. Roasted flavor with some dried fruits, coffee and a hint of cooked vegetables. Full body and roasted finish. A quite nice one, pleasant and easy to drink. 101204

Pours deep chestnut brown with a lovely, staying, creamy, beige head. Aroma has a mild buttery touch - but not much. Roasted malts abound among nuts and dark chocolate. Light carbonation, fairly light mouthfeel with okay dryness. Flavour is soft, dry, dark chocolate, light grainy with a long, malty bitter finish. Easily drinkable.
