[cask at Princess of Shoreditch, London] Brown pour with a thin white head. Malty toffee aromas come from the glass; flavours are more malt with a touch of biscuit. Quite a dry finish with some bitterness. Decent stuff [10042011]

(The Edgar Wallace, cask) Dark amber color, small off-white head, some lace. Caramelly, hard toffee aroma. Caramelly-nutty flavor. Very weak palate - otherwise quite ok. Short nutty hoppy and toffeish finish.
