Ungstrup (11385), Frederiksberg, Denmark Nov 1, 2006 [Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen] A very hazy - almost unclear beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet hoppy with light notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet malty and rather citrusy, combined with lighter notes of caramel, leading to a dry and very bitter end. oh6gdx (6343), Vaasa, Finland Aug 4, 2008 Cask@Market Porter. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is wood and spices along with some notes of conifer forest. Flavour is grass, wood and some mildherbal notes. Aftertaste is mainly yeasty, herbal and slightly grassy. duff (5407), Sydney, Australia, Surrey, England Jun 3, 2005 Cask@The Roebuck, Richmond, London. Very sweet, and almost cloying, caramely sweetness, malty. Very flat, dull mouthfeel. There isn’t much hop character in this, very dissapointed, quite lame, considering this brewer makes some good stuff. harrisoni (5359), Ashford, Kent, England Jul 31, 2006 Cask gravity at The George, Bethersden, Summer BF 2006. Copper colour with thin off white head. Yeasty aroma, some cascade hop aroma. Earthy in mouth, dry earthy hop finish. Very drying finish. Malts are quite juicy. Bit of spiciness. Oddly moreish bitter. Hildigöltur (5056), København Ø, Denmark Oct 25, 2003 Cask conditioned at O'Hanlon's, London. Looks good, golden amber. Sweet and malty with caramel notes. Mild and easy to drink, without being watery.
