UPDATED: JUL 16, 2008 Århus2008. 50 cL bottle, came as OHanlons Wheat Beer. Pours cloudy yellow with a fully diminishing and then lacing white head. Mild yet nicely hoppy aroma. Sweet flavour with a light hoppy fruit note. Ends mild fruity and light bitter. This beer obviosly hold more hops that wheat, I assume the wheat is there for the body and not aroma nor flavor. Simple, yet nice and refreshing.6-3-6-3-12=3.0

A clear orange beer (at least untill the yeast is poured) with a huge very bubbly white head. The aroma is sweet malty with clear notes of wheat, but even stronger notes of hops, almost grassy - which is quite unusual for a wheat beer, but very pleasant - a very fresh aroma. The flavor is sweet with notes of yeast, wheat, coriander, and other spices - not nearly as good as the aroma - where did the hops go? The mouthfeel is flat, even though it is bottled contitioned.

UPDATED: JUL 3, 2005 (Bottle 50 cl) Incredibly fresh, citrusy nose, high carbonation. The bottle fermentation has created an immense pressure so that the beer almost floods out of the bottle. Pronounced hoppiness by which this British wheat certainly is different from it’s German and Belgian counterparts. But quite fresh although mainly from the hops - you don’t find the refined fruity wheat esters in this. Unfortunately. 240105

Cask conditioned at Cockney Pub, Århus Blond color, thin head. I can’t find wheat presence here; it’s mild, simple, but with some light fresh aroma, citrusy, with some malt flavor (almost crispy) and a quite strong bitterness. Drinkable.
