Pours thick black with a foamy light brown head which is quite long lasting. Aroma is mainly sweet chocolate and coffee. Tastes coffee, dried fruit, some hops. Finish is dry and a bit hoppy. Very nice.

Dark red-brown, with a creamy tan head. Aroma is mainly roasted malt, with a touch of port. Dry, rich roasted chocolate flavor with a bitter finish, with subtle hints of port. Thin-bodied. I love port and stouts but the mix wasn’t for me.

Deep brown with red highlights. Huge head at first; becomes stringy and lacey. Very active carbonation. Somewhat thin-bodied and light, but not necessarily watery. A little woodsy, with a big chocolaty sweetness. Maybe even a little milky, too. Kind of fruity with a light undertone of port wine (I was expecting it to be much more pronounced). Balancing bitterness in the finish. Not too bad, but not great.

Dark brown-red color, Sweet fruity, coffee aroma and taste, light body, light dry finish. Not a good port stout.

Bottle conditioned from Safeway, Totnes, Devon. (500ml). Rich stout with evident port notes. I’m not a huge fan of stout, but this is drinkable.

This is very good! I was surprised. Nice dark red pour. Very nice tingly bubbles. Decent head. Roasty and dry mouthfeel, a little cola-like. Dry port finish. Surprisingly good.

Stored under a different name than what’s on the bottle, because their mother is a whore. No, no, not really, just like the word "whore". Pours dark red-brown. Nose malty, mildly roasty. Quite vinous. Flavor is malty at first, bit of caramel, the port character comes on at the end with some richness and sweetness. A bit of smoke at the end.

Dark reddish brown coloured. Roasty malt aroma with fruity and vinous notes. Pleasant and rather complex.
