Full of hazelnuts maybe, and chocolate and crystal malts. The flavor is mild, even for a stout and seems to lack substance. The carbonation is smooth and creamy, very melow. It leaves a good refreshing tingle in your mouth. GregClow (2516), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Interesting aroma - fairly malty/roasty with notes of coffee and smoke, and a tinge of sour fruit. Body is on the thin side - decent for an ale, but light for a stout. Flavour follows on the aroma - sweet roasty notes of the top, some mild smoke and coffee, and a dry, sourish finish. Pretty neat little beer. JorisPPattyn (5193), Antwerpen, Belgium

Slight-sweet, some typical porter-roasted notes, but especially a fry or a roast piece of meat... Ink-like, but sweet taste, with a slight moccha-like finish. Warming up, some fruity-estery noes. Medium bodied, quite slick. Must have been a very Scottish dash of Portwine. Lubiere (4556), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

A rather strong Brett aroma, herbal with notes of chocolate, bitter and roasted. In mouth, a bitter chocolate appears clearly, a bit herbaceous, but no porto noted in this. Medium bodied. Bieropholie private imports, early 2006. BB 03-05-2007. Dorwart (1832), Robbinsville, New Jersey, USA

Great big light tan head with great lacing. Roasted aroma with grapes and other fruit. Color is a very dark red/brown. Medium bodied stout with fruit, a touch of coffee and a little sweet. Finish is dry and slightly bitter. A decent stout. jimhilt (1695), Bow, New Hampshire, USA
